We saw two recent launches, BE and KZ. Both started very early at a local time. When we think of having Apple Pay being activated between 4 and 5 in the morning the participating banks won’t go under maintenance after 4 and 5. they would be completely ready by that time. What leads you to that conclusion? The truest fact is Santander had issues in November.
Yeah because some random XYZ payment service provider knows about non-public launch dates. The grasping straws in here is quality entertainment.Hmm..someone from Concardis (Payment Service Provider) tweeted this:

anytime<< Mhm all Apple Stores should be "AP Ready" ---
But if it's true or not....who knows.....
But thanks Maxim for this Twitter "Information" ^^every weeks new leaks
Do you guys think that Apple Pay will launch together with Apple Pay Cash in Germany? Germans like cash, don‘t they?
Because, 4 years ago it would be a game changer, esp. since back then I couldn't even get a NFC card from my Sparkasse. Nowadays it's something everyone should have by now (a nfc capable girocard)
Well, as i got my NFC card from my main bank (Commerzbank) just last week, and only the maestro card, not the MC yet, i doubt that everyone has a NFC card already. Come to think of it, my main MC (yes, i have quite a zoo of cards by now) does not have NFC yet and since it is valid until 2021 it will most probably not be replaced until then. Not that apple pay helps there, as neither Commerzbank nor Degussa offer it, which is why N26 works quite well for that in my case, opening an account took all of 10 minutes, and then a week to get the card as i was cheap and didn't want to pay for a 3 day delivery.
really had hoped DKB would join quitely... I mean they were the first to have an Mockup with ApplePay at an event (a) year(s) ago...
Is there any statement where they said they'd join in April? So far I've only seen the one tweet about them not discriminating other operating systems...?DKB will join in April 2018.
Commerzbank will also join Apple Pay, hopefully in the first few months of 2019. I also assume ING won't wait too long with the implementation, they might also be ready by April, as I'm sure they won't want to be left behind their two main rivals.
They announced Google Pay, information leaked through Finanz-Szene.de that they need to wait for OSPlus 19.0 (released in April) from Finanz Informatik (IT management for DSGV, DKB uses their platform) to be ready for mobile payment systems. Is there any statement where they said they'd join in April?
