Did you checked the side of the terminal? I know several POS at Aral where you have to display your card at the side.


But yes, that's the most annoying fact about franchise partners. There is no payment standard. The most annoying AP Partner will be Burger King. Most of the times BK do not accept Creditcards.
But the fact that they do adds about Payback but not even accepting the Payback Amex is launching me into instant-raging mood

I doubt that the terminal from Aral supports contactless payments. The terminal has a metal case and it is on a stand so the cashier can turn it from their side to yours. That was quite comfortable, but today it is just annoying that it does not support contactless payment.

But yeah, that is totally true! Burger King in Witten has an ATM from Volksbank inside the restaurant and you have to get cash from there. No cards accepted. :rolleyes:

The POS Terminals at Aral do accept NFC payments. The reader is at the right site of the casing.
