I received this email on Nov 22.

It's definitely new for users that just singed up to their service (I singed up like a week ago and just got the mail). Which would make the theory that something happened and AP was supposed to be released earlier plausible.

Same for me. VISA has been registered since October. Got one email in mid November, not today.

I am not a Comdirect costumer. I just signed up for their AP newsletter and received it today at 16:53

I don’t feel the hype this time so it’ll probably really launch tomorrow if that’s what Apple wanted to achieve with this very late Apple Pay launch well done I can only say I somehow really don’t care if it launches now or not.

I have N26 but I wonder if Revolut will support AP on launch day or later

No Revolut won’t support ap. Just for top up.

I remember Aral and Ditsch have been on the page before. What I am wondering about is that my Aral station has an old terminal that does not accept any contactless payment method. How should that work with Apple Pay?

Edit: When I am thinking about it, I know several stations from Aral around Bochum/Dortmund/Witten having that old terminal.

Same with Backwerk. In my city i have two of them neither one of them does accept cards cash only. I think if they are a partner they should support 100 % not only at some locations.
