I just ordered the DB card Virtual in the app. It takes up two working days to be available. :O
Where can you order it in the app? When I select the Apple Pay Option in the app it shows me my dB card plus that I can add to Apple Pay - no option to order the virtual card though...

comdirect is weird, I have the SMS information service, it said it sent a text message but it doesn't arrive. All other cards (Amex, Amex, DB, N26, boon., bunq) worked fine, even the ones that send SMS, like Amex.

Oh well. I'll try sending the code later once more.
Amex sends texts? They just send me a confirmation email that I set up the card successfully.

Don't know if it has been posted yet. But here are the banks joining 2019 so far. It's directly from Apple Pay page.

One note though... yomo (that "young" Sparkasse product) was also rumoured to introduce mobile wallet integration in April with Sparkassen to follow at the end of 2019. Obviously no agreement has been reached with them yet. I'm not too optimistic.

But great news and shows Apple was still working behind the scenes to get the relevant banks onboard. ING will also become interesting as their Visa appears as a credit card, but actually debits the amount within 2-3 days.

So all relevant direct/internet banks are on board and the only big holdouts are VoBa and Sparkasse? There is enough pressure now for them to come on board. Thumbs up to Apple for sitting this one out and not giving us a crappy launch like they did in Switzerland (and that still hasn't seen a single bank sign up since)!

Sparkasse better follow suit... I‘d swap banks but I‘m way too deep into their ecosystem with contracts that I‘m too lazy to change...

Yep. Very weird. Not unless they were responsible for the delays and pulled out last minute?

Also surprised Commerzbank isn't on there...

Also Pounty and I posted it at the same time (credit where credit is due!).

Maybe both start next week?

1st place on Twitter :)
So much for "an den Sparkassen führt kein Weg vorbei" and ING's original "we'll wait and see how the market reacts to Apple Pay". :p

No, no more banks this year. Also: What isn't listed as "coming soon" won't be. I'm honestly "shocked" (maybe a strong word, but hey) that Commerzbank isn't even listed under 2019... what are they doing? o_O
