Does anyone here have experience with a KBC Debit card and could maybe share some screenshots of the card and app (or even via PN)?

How do you use it? Can you only transfer via IBAN or top-up via another card?

There have been recent lockdowns once again with different Apple Pay solutions (N26 / bunq / boon?) and I want to make sure I have at least one € account with Apple Pay enabled remaining...

Only to pay with Apple Pay Switch to a Full Account. I think for the time until it comes in Germany, Boon is the best alternative. Even if someone has to pay.

I like Bunq, I’ve no regrets about paying for it. Lots of stores here in NL don’t accept creditcards so Boom is not the best alternative here. Bunq with ApplePay works everywhere

Just for people interested in Bunq, they will have their next "Bunq update" on July, 24th. Dont think we will see anything Apple Pay related but maybe Google Pay will make it to Bunq.

This... but it’s been sorted! Must say the boon / Wirecard customer service is absolutely fantastic! Was worried they were cracking down.

Ok. Not at my wallet. But had a problem Yesterday at Ditsch, although even the physical MasterCard was not working wireless and I had to put it into the reader. So it seems to me there was a problem yesterday. Don't know if wireless can be out of order and chip works?
Had the same problem with both methods (Apple Watch + Physical Card) at a vending machine shortly later. The machine complaining "payment not accepted"

Could be that the NFC reader is broken, saw it yesterday in Hornbach, where one of their POS terminals was working only with chip.

Or there might have been some MC outage, similar to one last week

Same problem last week. After a call to the hotline it was unlocked again.
But they couldn't tell me why it was blocked.

Im aware of that, but now it’s „official“. Maybe they spent the time trying to find a way to block users from unsupported Apple Pay countries o_O

Hmmm. Most concrete statement of him about Apple Pay I ever read. High bet.

Especially the last tweet: he knows one bank that will launch Apple Pay this year in Germany.

In my opinion he is very reliable. I disagree though on his take regarding an announcement at the Q3 Earnings Call. Apple has shown a clear pattern when it comes to announcing new countries. I don't see them saying anything about new countries at the September keynote. If it is gonna happen, it will be at an earnings call. After an announcement banks have about 2 more months time. The release could therefore be very well at the beginning of October. Otherwise we won't see Apple Pay in Germany any time before November.
I think it could get very interesting for Germany in two weeks. I have no insider information whatsoever. It is simply my take on this matter.
[doublepost=1531951161][/doublepost]Plus, I suspect his source is Commerzbank/comdirect. He stated he knew about the start of Google Pay. Now it is the same source. Regarding his tweets I doubt he has very strong links to N26. Wirecard with boon is simply not enough of a big player to know the details of the start that long before it is actually gonna happen. So it is an easy exclusion principle for me.
