Nice! Looks like Santander have flipped the switch. I take it you had to do the region-change also?
yes - on both the iPhone and watch app. Added the card and verified both and then switched back to UK. Received a text and email confirmation from Santander that I'm ready to go
yes - santander sent me a verification code via text message - then i clicked on the card and entered the code sent and it added the card
Apple must be waiting for the rest of the banks to say they've done the same. What happens if you restart your phone? I notice apple pay disappeared again for me once I'd swapped it back to the UK region. But I have no cards registered
Well my Santander Visa Debit card tells me I need to contact my card issuer... Looks like it must be turned on in batches?

I've just been on the phone to Santander as it has asked me to call them, they said the system isn't live yet and anyone who has been able to register, will get de-reregistered.
Interesting. Looks like a pretty strange email to send if it's not live. Surely the system would need to be set up and working for this to arrive in my inbox?

I agree, but my card doesn't work I get a text and email saying unable to register and to call them.
They would say that, wouldn't they? The test is whether it works or not.
I had the exact same text when I tried to set it up a couple days ago, this time it worked.
I guess I'll have to test it in a bit.
I know it was updated with phone verification recently but that was for sending money, no mention of Apple Pay. Has there been another update?
Not working for me with debit card, just get a text asking me to phone them!!
maybe they've turned it back off, as they've not given the offical go ahead and didn't expect people to suss it out?
Maybe, either way seems like the launch must be imminent!!
