As smithey - is any other santander customer able to confirmWow. *scrambles to find wallet*
Anybody else with a Santander card to confirm?
Tried with both MBNA and also Nationwide - got to the terms and conditions page but told me to contact my card issuer.
Close but no cigar.....
Beat me to it, that's me out for now then, just Nationwide and Natwest I can try...Natwest not working, best of luck to you with Santander, if it activates it should work on payment, no need for any update on the terminal end (unless you want to spend more than £20).
I also have a Lloyds card I can try but I imagine that will be even less productiveBeat me to it, that's me out for now then, just Nationwide and Natwest I can try...
Yeah I think earlier up this thread someone mentioned about JL not being ready at launch. Two different results now.
1. Tried with MBNA & Nationwide - both failed with 'Contact Card Issuer Message'
2. Tried John Lewis Credit Card - failed BUT with an message saying 'Your Issuer Does Not Yet Offer Support'
So... It does seem that all MBNA and Nationwide need to do is flick the switch on the back end..
Will require your watch to be set to US region before the official launch, after that it will work fine as it connects every 24 hours to Apple to see whether to turn on that functionality for UK region. When it goes live will the double-press button on Apple Watch just start working or will it require a WatchOS update?
