Ah I’m always late to the party lolThey’ve been uncapped for a while. I’ve been spending over £30 there for over a year now. I think it’s only recently they’ve decided to put signage up about it.

Went for a bit of shopping yesterday and it seems no clothes retailer bothers with contactless. Gap, Next, River Island, Topshop like you mentioned... so annoying when you’re just getting a couple of low value things!Another store to add to the dinosaur list: topman and topshop.
Had contactless capable machines but not enabled.
That’s a good point actually, there aren’t many that do. The only clothing retailers that come to mind for me that I know take contactless are Primark, New Look, Adidas and Nike outlet. I’ve even used Apple Pay >£30 in Nike a few times.Went for a bit of shopping yesterday and it seems no clothes retailer bothers with contactless. Our local Asda has had their petrol station demolished and rebuilt.
They now support contactless (they didn’t before) but it’s limited to £30 which is really annoying when paying for fuel.
During the building phase I’ve been using a nearby Torq garage and they support unlimited Apple Pay.

Is this contactless at pay at the pump or have they rebuilt with a kiosk?
They were actually comparatively quick to enable this, since March 2016 at least. I remember being pleasantly surprised!I discovered today that EuroCarParts has ApplePay enabled correctly for all amounts.
In case it ended up in anyone's junk folder Barclaycard are offering a £10 iTunes gift card if you spend £50 or more via Apple Pay in store.
Haven’t had this yet but does that apply to any store out of interest?
Was posted on HUKD on 26th so then or before. Is there a start date specified? I spent £62 via ApplePay on Thursday (though I haven’t had the email).
Would appear it’s any Apple Pay >£50 store rather than specific retailers...
Just where to spend that kind of £!
As somebody who used to work in a Tesco petrol station, I can tell you it happened very regularly but the admin fee is only applied when not paid within 7 days so looks like that poster is just trying to get some goodwill vouchers.
Also suggesting the stores that don’t take >£30 are archaic is a bit of a long stretch - I can’t even imagine the backend required to roll out changes to so many stores!
Was wondering about the the admin fee so thanks.
He could have bought a couple of gift cards to pay.
