Anyone else getting this message when trying to add to Apple watch?
Didnt get that... but i also didnt get the Card on your phone bit - after adding my card to my phone I had to start from scratch adding the same card to my watch also.

People that initially added their cards with the region trick (i.e. last night before Apple fully pushed the update) have you since switched back and it's working OK?

Would like to avoid the embarrassment of it not working properly when I go into London today just because I was a little impatient. I got the welcome email and everything, and oddly I received the exact same activation code via text 2 hours after I first activated it.

Another question - does this work with ALL contactless terminals? Five Guys is listed as 'coming soon' on the website yet it has contactless terminals...
Probably because you'd be hard pressed to get a transaction through under £20 at Five Guys

Ha ha ;) I get it. Perhaps if I was paying for more than one person but as it is, I think I can handle a <£20 transaction even with a five pound milkshake.

Anyone tried a Halifax card? If I try a barclaycard credit card I get the proper error saying my issuer isn't supported. Halifax just give a generic error message saying try again.

Halifax is not a day 1 launch bank. Barclays are not even in Apple Pay's list.

Refers to the Five Guys app I think?

Anyone managed to use the NatWest phone verification thing? Been on hold for ages!

I'm aware of that, but wondering why it's not saying that and just saying try again. It's like it's getting past the first check of "is the bank in scope" but failing at a later stage.
I apologise for that but you shouldn't be surprised though. Don't get your hopes up at all that Halifax is close to launching. They did not say they'll launch this July, so it's autumn for them.

I added my card at 7:05 this morning and didn't get through until i was walking out the door at 7:25. They are obviosuly super busy this morning. Good luck getting through if you haven't already!

Also, finally this has finally arrived. This is one of the reasons i was so excited to get the 6+, 128GB, screen and being able to pay with my phone. Apple really are poor at extending their services outside the US. But I'm glad its here and am looking forward to my mostly card-less future.

Tried at Co-Op and worked well - Only thing I noticed is the terminal sits there saying Authorizing for a good 5 seconds or so after i presented the card where as contactless is usually instant.

Not sure if it was just the terminals in that shop though.

Mixed success this morning. Worked great in Starbucks and Co-Op, but managed to crash a self service card reader in Boots. No one around so sheepishly paid by cash

Well, I had my doubts but I am currently sitting on a London bus I paid for with Apple Pay.

The ticket inspector also came onboard (what are my chances) and it passed the check. Just ask to use his NFC reader. He had no idea what Apple Pay was. He was also not impressed.

Seemed to take a little while to wake up on the reader, but it worked well.

Added my Amex and tried it on the Tube. Worked a charm. There WAS a noticeable delay compared to Oyster when tapping out at the destination ticket gates, 2 or 3 extra seconds.

There doesn't seem to be a way to associate your DAN with TFL online accounts at present to deal with refund applications, journey history, etc.

Strangely I got a push notification from Passbook telling me that my Barclaycard is now ready to be added to Apple Pay? Haven't tried to add it yet though, assume it was just an erroneous push notification as others have said Barclays are not working.

Just bought a coffee at Greggs this morning. Managed to get my Santander card on this morning with the US region trick.
All went through fine though the guy behind the counter was really confused. He thought I was trying to pay with a loyalty card app and was surprised that it went through. I think he thought I had defrauded them... It'll get better though as more people use it.

I've had to call Santander. They've had to do extra security because I tried adding it early through the regional change trick!
What prompted you to do this? A failed transaction or it wouldn't add the card or what?
