You canNeither places support Apple pay with Amex at the moment.
Transaction history is dependant on your bank. Nationwide doesn't do it. Amex does.Used Apple Pay for the first time today in the UK. I wondered, is the watch meant to tap you on the wrist with confirmation when the transaction is complete? It only shows a tick.
Also, is there anyway of showing the transaction history from the watch? I know you can with the iPhone.

They are both part of the same group, I believe. That's the same response I got from Lloyds a few days ago.

I tried to add my First Direct card last week after returning from holiday and I have had no holding charges applied, even though I made at least four attempts to add my card details before checking here on MacRumors.
Or what??? I'm in the same boat but what are you going to do if they don't!!!

Hi
Thank you for the heads up.
I tried adding my card last week unaware that HSBC had delayed their participation. I was unaware also that hold a £1.58 charge in order to confirm its the account holder actually adding the card.
I tried x4 times - Lol.
Over £6 held and returned in 3-4 days.
I'm on iOS 8.1.2 at the moment as I'm jail broken and like the stability of that jail break. I changed region in my iPhone which added the option to add my card details in Passbook.
Costa UK have confirmed they have Pay in some of their outlets. I've checked my City Centre ones so I'm happy.
I've used Apple Pay linked to my Nationwide card in Costa.
As mentioned a couple of times now. If you ask "Can I pay via Apple Pay" the person behind the till normally says "we don't take that yet" however saying "contactless" works without any problems.
We have two Costa stores in town but only one has contactless facilities. The other doesn't have a card reader with contactless whatsoeverIn my local Costa, on their terminals have the Apple Pay logo along with the contactless logo on it. So some Costa stores have newer terminals than others.
However ALL Costa stores (unless a store's terminal has technical problems) do support contactless. All you have to do say I'm paying through contactless and you're fine. So the staff won't start a silly argument with you about them not supporting it. Goes for any store that has contactless.
Is anyone through on HSBC yet? I know it's not midnight and it might be morning before it goes live, but just curious...
Nothing so far, I'm presuming 8 or 9AM tomorow...
