My arrival scan in Louisville was at 2 pm. As yet, I do not have a departure scan.

I have two MBAs on the way - one #ShanghaiGang and one 11/17 order that’s coming FedEx. Both had arrival scans to my city, FedEx in Newark NJ and UPS in Maspeth. FedEx has been doing weekend deliveries in NYC so I’m hopeful that it comes tomorrow? UPS doesn’t do weekend deliveries here so that will probably sit in a warehouse over the weekend.

So I said screw it and went out and bought a MBA 8gig 512 as a temp pc until my 16 gig ram comes in. Well I'll tell you its bad ass. With the best buy return policy its a no brainer rather than waiting 30 days. I have been testing this laptop today and the YouTube videos are correct. its hard to make this thing struggle. I have only worked on office and a few other applications today, but it hasn't missed a beat!

Mine also has arrived at the UPS hub in my area, but it is still about 2 hr drive away from my city. I don't expect them to deliver on Saturday. But I agree with @Kalae that they should given the delay in Shanghai.

Yeah they definitely should. Mine is within very close driving distance.

They moved mine further! I live relatively close to the airport so the UPS facility they moved it to is actually further from me.

My latest update is 10:46PM, "Processing at UPS Facility". Is this a good sign?

The icon for this shipment in the UPS App also changed from a forward arrow to a square Stop symbol.

My MBP 16GB/1TB (ordered 11/10) just moved to Preparing to Ship status, but still showing the apparently erroneous January delivery dates. So at least there is hope. They may still be able to make the original 12/3-12/10 delivery window.
 
Ordered my MBP 512/8GB last night from Best Buy, picked it up first thing this morning and did the initial setup and updates while working. So far, I'm even more impressed with this machine than I thought I would be.

I did not receive the arrival scan at the "superhub" with Airport, but the Arrival scan I received now is at a UPS location 2 hours drive away from me just now. Looks like they are using ground network for my package from Louisville.

I cannot guarantee but it sounds like a good sign to me.

"Processing at UPS Facility" seems equivalent to "Destination Scan" in the past. In my recent UPS trackings, it is always followed by out for delivery - all these deliveries happened on weekdays though.

But two years ago I had a package arriving at the hub in my area on a Saturday. They didn't move the package to my city until early Monday morning. Once it was in my city, I got a destination scan and out for delivery.

Hope they'll do Saturday deliveries!

I'm not worried. I am sure I am going to get my upgraded 16 GB RAM + 256 GB SSD M1 MBA by The Game Awards airing on Youtube on Dec 10, but this tracking looks off....

What's with the latest update being "Departed from Anchorage, AK" but the latest Travel History showing "Shanghai, CN" - "In Transit"?

Also, it went to Anchorage, AK, and then went back to Shanghai? What is going on?!?!?

On that screen, change the drop down from “Local Scan Time” to Destination.

After this helpful tip, I was able to find my flight! FDX9810! The departure time on Flightaware.com matches perfectly with the "Departure Scan" on Fedex.com!

No reason is given why the flight was delayed by 59 min, at least according to FlightStats.com:

Original Delivery Window when ordering: 5.12. - 12.12.
Delivery Windows in Order confirmation: 7.12. - 14.12.

Still at processing/not charged yet 😔😔

That is great news! I made it to Louisville KY and have a departure scan from there 13 hours ago, but nothing after that. Fingers crossed mine continues to make progress but nothing so far in this process gives me optimism. I am in the NY/NJ/CT area so plenty of airports and flights.

I have the same departure scan from anchorage so must be in your flight, thanks for the info! @rbf1138
