Just got a weird email from fedex that says “the estimated delivery window for your shipment is no longer available.” Tracking was updated to “International shipment release - Import” in Memphis this morning. Not sure what that means but hopefully it leaves Memphis today or tomorrow.

Did it end up shipping? I never received an email about my shipping delay (even though Apple Support said they had sent it). And the wording of my status page has changed in an optimistic direction(?)... text now says “We have everything necessary to complete your order. We’ll update your delivery date when your order is preparing to ship.” The first half I’ve seen before, but the “we’ll update your delivery date” leads me to believe that I shouldn’t trust the delivery window that’s still a month from now. (Original window was Nov 27-Dec 4)
Got an email from UPS and it says my delivery is "rescheduled" to Monday.
I hated UPS in the best of times.Reading this thread has me really nervous about UPS and ordering custom now. I hope it doesn’t get lost in Shanghai. Lol
My MBA 16/512 is estimated for 30th December too (ordered 27th November) and my credit card was charged yesterday morning. We should see status change in 2-3 days from processing to preparing for ship.
Finally, after leaving Louisville facility early yesterday, my MBP was scanned arriving this morning (12/6) 70 miles from my house; and UPS sent text indicating that it would be delivered tomorrow (12/7). Inching closer. Will tomorrow be D day for most of the #ShanghaiGang?

Never got any email and text from UPS for this package. UPS always emails me the day before the delivery day (configured so in MyChoice). My scheduled delivery changed from "12/5 by 9pm" to "information unavailable" and status from "in transit" back to "preparing for delivery" again. The package is in my city right now, probably 20 min drive away from me.
Interestingly, I got a UPS My Choice email reiterating delivery tomorrow. One weird thing is that I am trying to change delivery to hold at a UPS Store so there's no chance I miss it, but it's saying that that option is restricted by the sender. I have never seen that restriction before.Same here. West Coast US and last scan is departing Anchorage on 12/1 at 9:33pm. Was starting to think I was the only one left. I have a feeling we won’t be getting it tomorrow
I have seen it in the past for Apple delivery. I was able to change delivery to UPS Store by calling Apple and getting them to release package for delivery at UPS store - however, as I recall, that might have delayed delivery by a day.
weirdly my MBA 16/1TB (rose/gold) ordered on 23rd nov, still hasn't even got passed processing. I contact support only once, and they said its going to deliver on time. I find that questionable now. My delivery is Dec 9th-16th, and it hasn't moved from processing.
I wonder if I should asked for MBP instead.
I think they have problems with any orders that have the 1TB, mine quietly went from dec 4-10 to Jan 7th to 14th. it was a MBP 16/1TB however. I think at this time 256/512 = good 1TB=Bad. Ordered on Nov 12th.
I have a air coming with a 16gb/8 core/ 1 tb config. It’s supposed to come by Fri and i am still in processing status.
Yes I have 2 1tb MBAs that were ordered 11/12 and have moved from 11/30-12/7 delivery to 12/30-1/7.
I’d give up the additional drive space if I could get a lower capacity drive sooner but by now it seems all the delivery dates are end of December

I really should not complain. I have a 2019 MacBook Pro 16, 16gb, 1TB, 5500m. Frankly its a great machine. TO be blunt. I only got it cause I always wanted a chrome book / arm processor to learn arm assembly. Over the decades I have written libraries and utils for corporations that do magic, and I want a challenge, thus ARM is something I never done before.
I just hope it gets here before the last 2 weeks of the year, Im going to go hiding from family and write ARM assembly. Wouldn't it be cool to write rust library that dart uses? Who wouldn't want that?
I keep trying to tell myself that the delay is a blessing in disguise and by the time mine ship they’ll have sorted some of the early issues like Bluetooth connectivity etc...
This gives me hope that mine will be shipped soon as well. I ordered the same configuration and it shows a delivery date of Dec 16-23. I assume they charged your card as well. I keep checking both the order status page and my credit card activity for any signs of progress
.I’m part of the two gangs.. but mine flew to louisville... had an departure scan 2 days ago.. and still no update... final destination Miami..
My MBP 16/1 ordered on the 16th is still processing. Apple keeps assuring me it will ship today or tomorrow.

16GB/1TB MBP Silver - originally listed as Standard Delivery Dec 14-21 shipped FedEx from Shanghai on 12/5, is in Memphis as of now with a FedEx scheduled delivery of 12/11 and an Apple estimated delivery of 12/14.
Not sure how my wife's silver leapfrogged by space gray but I guess there's still time for a big rally and comeback...
