My original delivery was 11/30-12/7. Changes a few days ago to 12/30-1/7. And now shows preparing to ship.
I guess Apple found a box of 1tb drives in the back of the closet.

Update: The MacMini has been set-up for a few hours. So far so good. I've forgotten how many "tweaks" need to be made to make it "my own". So far so good!

Got an email from Apple. MBA will be deliver by December 15th. FedEx scheduled delivery is still pending. This week is going to be very difficult.

Just delivered!! MBP M1 16/1, Space Grey. Ordered 11/11, Shipped 11/21, Delivered 12/07 12:58 pm MST. Of course, it delivered on a Monday - so I may not have much time to set it up and try things out until Friday. But I am not complaining. :cool: Good luck to everyone else who is still awaiting delivery.

Ordered: 13 Nov w/ 16-22 Dec delivery date
Charged: 26 Nov
Shipped: 29 Nov
Delivered: 07 Dec

Finally! Within the last 30-60 minutes. Card got charged for a Space Gray MBP 16gb/1tb placed on Nov. 13th at 3:00 pm. EST. Shipping with Express Delivery.

Is there tracking info? I wonder if Express really does mean it ships from within the states.

ordered: 18 Nov with Dec 11-18 Delivery Estimate
Charged: 2 Dec
Shipped: 3 Dec [notified via my Fedex account]
Ship Notification from Apple: 4 Dec [with Dec 10 delivery estimate]
Delivered: 7 Dec [didn't get update on delivery date until this morning(Dec 7)]
 
Good afternoon everyone, I wanted to give an update in hopes that it will be helpful. I am happily typing this on my new M1 MBA....
I ordered mine (MBA 8/8 16GB, 512) on November 20th and was initially given a window of 12/7 to 12/14, that window then slipped to 12/21 to 12/29. I got my shipping notice from China on December 3rd (via Fedex) the tracking showed a 12/10 delivery date. It moved quickly to Memphis then to Birmingham 60 miles up the road. This morning when I left for work it still showed 12/10. I checked after I got to work and it showed out for delivery to be delivered before noon. It was delivered (no signature required) at 10:23. Extremely pleased with it so far.

Mine just got delivered too. It got a "preparing for delivery" at 6:20am 12/5, another "preparing for delivery" at 7:32am today. It didn't change to "out for delivery today" until 12:30pm; I thought I would have to wait for another day. The driver stopped by around 1:30pm, right within the estimated window. I've finally got some faith back in UPS.

The driver was not a regular UPS driver but a seasonal helper (he wears a special jacket). He seems to drive his personal car. They may be really delivering until 9pm.

Haven't been able to tell as of yet. For the last hour or so Apple's Order Status page has been inaccessible. Best guess is people are hammering it more than usual today, since a lot of cards seem to be getting charged, and a lot of outgoing orders too.

Edit: Nevermind, scratch that, seems apple's order page URL/address changed again. It tends to fluctuate between secure4.store.apple.com and secure2.store.apple.com

It does however say Preparing to Ship. And one thing I learned the other day while speaking with Apple on the phone, they said once the order has been shipped, you will be charged.

So really, it's just waiting for Apple to update the order status page with your tracking information.
 
I can see a UPS truck across the street in front of the shopping mall nearby, guess I'm getting it soon.

Edit: It still has not left the shopping mall yet, guessing that shopping mall is having lots of packages

It is very frustrating. This is the same promise delivery date if I've ordered the same MBP today. It seems that I got pushed to the back of the line. This is just isn't fair.

Original delivery Estimate: Dec 4-7, 2020

This is really weird, after they have informed me that my delivery will be delayed to Jan 14-20, today, they notified me that my MBP have been shipped. The tracking info shows, I will be receiving my new laptop, and get this, on Dec. 9th. Two days shipping! WOW! I'm not complaining at all with that kind of awesome news. :)
 
Im glad to see that some of the MBP 16/1 are showing some movement. I ordered mine on the 16th with a window of the 2nd-9th, so I wonder if I will also see some movement today.
