Mac mini 16/256

Ordered Dec 8th
Charged Dec 15th
Estimated Dec 31st

Still in processing, no status changed as of yet... Anyone else order on the 8th? I was hoping it would reach early and would have it before Christmas.
UPDATE:

so sometime over night (dec 17th early morning) product went from processing to shipped in a few hours. It is now chek lap kok.

Apple says new date of Dec 24th!! And UPS says Dec 21st! It will be coming to Ontario Canada, so not sure if these times are actually accurate

That happened to me a couple of days ago. It didn't take long for it to be corrected. Mine went the same route as yours, then in Seattle or Vancouver it suddenly showed Shanghai again. I wouldn't be too concerned. Despite the fact that I've had many problems with UPS in the past, I'll give them some credit here, considering the holiday season and the Covid. It seems like most people are getting their machines delivered on or near UPS's schedule and well ahead of Apple's. Mine was originally scheduled for Jan 1, once it shipped Apple estimated Dec 17. I got it yesterday.
Awesome, thanks. Here's hoping mine gets resolved quickly as well. It 'departed' Shanghai twice more, only to arrive in Incheon again, and now has a message about customs clearance.

Don't trust UPS, trust Apple. At some point 2 weeks ago, apple told me "Dec 22" and they never changed their stance. Since then, UPS has said "31", "15", "12", "15", "16" and just now it got delayed to "21". I'm convinced that it's coming on the 22nd at this point.

My Mac Mini just left HK. It had arrived in HK on the 11th. The original UPS delivery estimate was tomorrow (not going to make that I think). Apple had it arriving on Monday 21st since it shipped which is more realistic right now. I used "standard shipping". UPS has a new arrival date of Tuesday 22nd.

Hmmm 2 days ago I had an email to tell me my Air was shipped (ordered 12/06) and the DHL tracking didn't move since that day , tracking number seems to mean it is in Eindhoven NL (I'm in France , so all DHL stuff to here come from that place)
Nothing looks like you guys with the departures from China etc etc
My tracking look like this

(For non French speakers "information sur l'expedition reçue means "shipment information received")

I got mine today! Here's the stats:
-------------------------------------
Model Ordered: Macbook Pro M1 - 16 (RAM) / 512 (SSD)
-------------------------------------
  • Order Placed: 11/30/20
    • Apple Estimate: 12/23/20
  • Processing: 12/7/20
  • Preparing to Ship: 12/8/20
  • Credit Card Charged: 12/8/20
  • Shipped: 12/9/20
    • Apple Estimate: 12/18/20 (didn’t update to 12/16/20 until day of)
    • UPS Estimate: 12/16/20
  • Delivered: 12/16/20 (7 days early from Apple's OG estimate)
-------------------------------------
  • UPS Path:
    • Shanghai, China
    • Incheon, South Korea
    • Anchorage, AK (flight stopover to Louisville, KY)
    • Louisville, KY
      • Note: For those of you refreshing every few hours like me - My machine sat in Louisville for a few days and several flights to SD went out... It's a busy time for UPS and I'm sure it's just a backlog...
    • San Diego, CA
-------------------------------------

First Impression :: This thing is screaming fast - my Chrome tabs alone usually get my fan going and my CPU usage hardly ever cracks 10-15%! I'm stoked with my decision. A few apps aren't working (Beamer, VLC), but other than that, you'd never know there was a major overhaul!
Just a note... VLC 3.0.11.1 works fine on mine...

I just wanted to share my experience trying to order a MacBook Air M1 in Portugal. Because my order for the base model got pushed to January, I went desperately online looking for a store which had it in stock. After much search, I finally found one store (literally just one store) that had it for 1-3 days delivery! Ordered it immediately, it’s packed and just waiting for shipment. You should’ve seen my victory dance!!

Sigh... I have a 16gb model mba on the way... but I just checked and there are base mba and mbp at my apple store... I will be patient but the fact that it's $225 cheaper and available...

Not to mention my UPS has been delayed in Shanghai... why get my hopes up with an early delivery date?!

Anyone in Shanghai w/ no updates for past 2 days?

Yep. My MBA shipped out early 12/16/20 and hasn't updated since. UPS marked the scheduled delivery date for 12/23/20 but Apple's updated delivery estimate is now 12/28/20. UPS tracking info displays "Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date". I don't think the UPS estimate is accurate given the posts in this thread so I'll expect to receive it on the 28th. It's shipping to AZ btw.

Order details:
MBA 16/256 placed 12/6/20

Estimated delivery date: 12/31/20
Credit card charged: 12/14/20
Preparing to ship: 12/15/20
Shipped: 12/16/20 from Shanghai

I've searched a bit on the internet what it could mean , it could be that they only created the label and actually don't have the Mac yet.
But where is it then? Who knows , probably between China and us , but why other have a tracking from the factory to their home...?

I had a UPS date of Christmas Eve but now that’s been replaced by “in transit” with scheduled delivery info unavailable.

We ordered same day same config!

Label created literally means that. Apple has contacted Fedex or UPS or whatever and they've created a label. Fedex/UPS doesn't have the Mac yet. They're going to go to the factory (as per the label's instructions) and pick up the Mac. At that point you get tracking. This can take days before it happens.

Thanks , but the question I'm asking myself is "why is this label created in The Nederland since all those stuff are built in China?" When I ordered my iPhone 12 I had a tracking from China , then Netherland , and France .

Based on all the previous data, I do not feel that fedex, nor apple's estimates are accurate. If the laptop has not shipped yet it's going to take much longer than a day for apple's estimate or 4 days for fedex's estimate. People have had packages stuck in each stage of the process for up to 6 days.
