Looks like it. I’ve got a scan now from 2020-12-17 04:12 saying it’s delayed in Shanghai.
Exactly, same time!
Hopefully that means that our computers will start moving soon. Best case scenario would be an overnight flight.
I have the same status too! As per UPS it "arrived at the facility" in Shanghai now! I don't know what the path would be! Will it go to Taiwan or Japan next or directly to Anchorage?

UPS status says this was delivered around 12:45pm today, and that someone with my name signed for it. Except that didn't happen, and I don't have a package. Already called Apple to report so they will start the "investigation". As you can imagine, not happy. (MBA M1 16/1).
I ordered mine on the 9th but because I have ordered the Mini with 16, 2TB its going to be shipped between 22nd and 29th Jan. I haven't been charged yet.

I've been avidly following this thread and was excited that my macbook was seemingly going to arrive far earlier than the Apple estimated date of 23 December, but it seems I've run into a road block.
My package was expected to be delivered 17 December according to the UPS estimate and went the expected route from Shanghai -> Incheon -> Anchorage -> Louisville. After almost 24 hours in Louisville it's showing that it's back in Shanghai.
Has anyone else experienced this?

All's well that ends well -- a neighbor was good enough to sign for me, but wasn't able to get ahold of me until now when they dropped the package off. All makes sense now. Doing one last Time Machine backup of the 2012 MacBook Pro and then I think will transfer data using that disk. Hope everyone gets their orders and has fun with them!
That happened to me a couple of days ago. It didn't take long for it to be corrected. Mine went the same route as yours, then in Seattle or Vancouver it suddenly showed Shanghai again. I wouldn't be too concerned. Despite the fact that I've had many problems with UPS in the past, I'll give them some credit here, considering the holiday season and the Covid. It seems like most people are getting their machines delivered on or near UPS's schedule and well ahead of Apple's. Mine was originally scheduled for Jan 1, once it shipped Apple estimated Dec 17. I got it yesterday.
In the spirit of keeping myself occupied, I thought I would provide another update. My mini did in fact make the flight from TW to Anchorage and is now on its way to Kentucky. Unfortunately, the plane took off 45 minutes late and isn't expected to arrive until 12:53am, which means there is almost no way it will make it on to the 1:00am flight to Detroit. it looks like that is the only flight daily, so it probably will get stuck in Louisville for at least 24 hours.This forum has made this an obsession. Now I'm searching flightware to determine potential flights and arrival times. Next thing you know I will be calling into the tower for updates.
I am guessing my mini is currently on UPS61 headed from TW to Anchorage estimated to land at 1:06pm
UPS61 should then continue on to Louisville leaving at 3:07pm and arriving at 12:38am
UPS1480 then leaves Louisville at 1:00am arriving in Detroit at 2:05am. The local UPS distribution center is about 45 minutes north of Detroit, so there is still a good chance it will arrive tomorrow as stated.
Now if I can just convince UPS dispatch to text me updates throughout the night with the location of the trucks
Between Saturday and Monday, I came so close to pulling the trigger on a base 8 / 512 gab Air to replace the returned 16 / 1.
Yesterday, I bought another SG M1 Air 8 /512. So glad I did. Delivered by courier a few hours later.

It’s in Incheon, South Korea, as of 10:45 this morning. I now have an expected delivery date of tomorrow, Friday.

Yeah. Same for me ordered on the 8th and my delivery was pushed to 18th of January
I'm east coast but it didn't really make a difference. It's been to three other locations AFTER Louisville for unknown reasons. I've never seen a package make so many stops. It's in Canada now but it's further from me than before!
Sometime overnight my card was charged and my order moved to preparing to ship. I don't have a tracking number yet and unless they already have one here in the states, I don't think I'll see it tomorrow. But I'm sure I'll see it by the 22nd which is the end of my delivery window.
