I wasn't able to secure an "early" delivery for my M1 base config MBA.

I am really tempted to just hop on over to my local Apple Store and pick one up at this rate....

Anyone showing status as "Cleared Customs" with an 11/17 Delivery Date taken delivery yet? Confused as it's not saying on the truck for delivery.

I'm too impatient. I just cancelled the online order, it was scheduled to be delivered betwen Dec 2 - Dec 11. The local store had what I wanted in stock MBP 13 16GB, 1TB Space grey in stock. I ordered that for pickup tomorrow and cancelled the online order. Tomorrow!!

Really debating trading in my 2019 128gb 13" MBP for the new Air. I don't use my MacBook all that often honestly but it looks so good. Might try to go through craiglist/offer up/eBay rather than trade in since the resale is so much better there. IDK.

Back to 18th now. Could've just picked up at Apple Store today. ?
Same here. That really sucks. I have a trade-in-kit with this order otherwise I could have just returned this MacBook and get one today from an Apple Store. Will have to be patient I guess. UPS Sucks.

Mine was originally estimated to be delivered Nov 23-24, and has now moved from Processing to Preparing to Ship with a deliver date of Nov 19 (my wedding anniversary

). This was ironic, as I was getting ready to place the same order again, but to have it picked up at my local Apple Store on Nov 18, and as I went to cancel the earlier order it suddenly switched to Preparing to Ship, and I was unable to Cancel it. No matter, it saves me a car trip, plus what's in a day during this lockdown.

BTW... I've seen a few images of the Mac mini M1 with its bottom black plate and inner perforated metal plate removed, and was absolutely amazed at all the empty space inside. It seems the inside is just the M1 board and a big ole fan enclosure. To me, there's enough space inside this mini to house 3x 15mm 2.5" spinners or 3 or 4 thin SATA SSDs.

I have to assume Apple did not want to resize or remanufacture a NEW Mac mini case for the smaller M1 components.... but who knows what their intentions are for expanding the Mac mini M1 in the future.

Mine was originally for delivery 11/18-11/19 and has not moved - its still in the Processing stage.

So frustrating!

That's what I did with the iPhone 12 Pro - ended up getting the phone on launch weekend at the Apple store after I paid for it the day before.

My pre-ordered phone was not seen for 3 weeks afterwards - talk about deceit by Apple.

If there's MBP 16/512 available at Apple Store, I 100% would get it and just return this. Also looking at reviews for MBA 16/1TB compared to MBP as another option. I do have base MBP 2019 right now and I hate how loud the fan is.

My package has been stuck at "Clearance in Progress" since around 12 pm.

"We currently have the package. The receiver requested clearance by a non-UPS broker. / As requested, the package was transferred to a Free Trade Zone or a non-UPS broker."

It sucks since it was in Lachine, QC. So close yet so far :(

Well I still have the 2017 MBP, Apple replaced the keyboard 3 X. And yeah the fan is also annoying. I like when Apple uses Fedex, they are accurate and very quick.

Can't you still do the trade-in kit with the online order for in-store pickup? That's what I have as an option.

Didn't want to take risks for in-store pick up because of this pandemic. We never know when the government could lock us down. And it's my first time doing a trade-in, don't have much experience.
