See, isn't that a better idea than waiting in line for hours and then possibly being told that they don't even have the model that you want?
I highly doubt Apple did not stock pile new iPhone a head of time of the release date in every Apple store. Millions of boxes will be air shipped over night to Apple stores across the globe on the day of the announcement.
Cell phone carriers will be a week behind the release date, but Apple stores will be ready to go first thing in the morning.
Which Apple store had the Jet Black iPhone 7 series in stock during release day?
Didn't that happen last year? Was anyone able to walk into an Apple Store on launch day and buy a new phone? (Except for those who preordered and chose in store pickup or AUP)

They were very hard to get hold of in stores for a while. And if there are shortages of the OLED model as expected, no way all the stores will be fully stocked.

It's part of taking ownership with this type of finish. It attracts fingerprints and scratches. But most who purchase the Jet Black iPhone, already understand this.

I don't know how anybody could let it go that long without the absurd desire to clean it overwhelming them. My jet black looks like a mirror! I keep trying to take photos to show it but it's like a selfie.
Exactly. I wipe mine with a microfiber cloth daily and keep it in a case. The matte black was nice but I am happy I got the JB.
