But at least there's SOME customizable Widget options.I love that app. It's perfect for tracking games w/live activities. I wish they had better widgets with more customization though.

Perhaps because the EU is so difficult to navigate? Take it up with your governing bodies.Whyyyy do Apple keep launcing apps for only certain countries. Are only the US, UK and Canada interested in sports? It's not like the rest of Europe have an interest... It's the same thing with the News app. God I hate it.
Makes sense for now with both of those leagues being out of seasonI’m in Canada. No NFL or CFL listing. Weird.
Might be an error although I do believe Spring training games do start tomorrow so maybe that is what they are referring to.Added MLB and it says "The 2024 MLB Season starts tomorrow"
Sweet, this app came with time travel!
I've been using Sports Alerts for the past few MLB seasons and I really like it. It's not perfect but it's leaps and bounds better than ESPN...I’m looking for a new sports app as the one I’ve been using for years keeps blasting stuff I turned off plus all the betting “ads”.
I'm not sure why you replied with this in regards to people not reading the article, but no app is ever finished. Hence updates and tweaks. Just like a car. There's always room for improvement with updates. This app is obviously missing things, its basic right now. I'm sure more updates are to come in the future. So it IS an unfinished app.
I hear you. Unless it covers sports in ESPN 8 (The Ocho), my wife and I won’t be giving this app a second look.I’m very disappointed I really wanted to keep track of the face slapping championships
I think this years WWDC is going to be ALL about their AI implementations so they want to get the smaller stuff out of the way first.I’m surprised they didn’t hold this until WWDC. This is barebones.
I disagree. We’re not talking about a policy of continuous improvements. This app was simply not ready for release. It’s missing basic functionality - and anyone who uses other sports apps knows it. It’s almost an insult. And, since no one was necessarily expecting it, it begs the question: Why didn’t Apple wait until it was ready for release? Or are the geeks in Cupertino so clueless that they didn’t realize it - or care?I'm not sure why you replied with this in regards to people not reading the article, but no app is ever finished. The Score is what I Have used for years. It's excellent, many more leagues covered with scores (about 30!), standings, and stats. No ads is nice but the app just appears unfinished. I’ll stick with my theScore app.
If the main language in your country is not English, Apple simply deems you a lesser person.
Yup, and I think it says right in the article too that "Additional leagues, including MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NWSL, and WNBA, will become available in the app over time."I suspect it’s because neither league is playing right now. But maybe I’m giving them too much credit. I also don’t see tennis or any form of motorsport. As I posted earlier, the app just looks unfinished.
No corgi races??? UNINSTALLEDI hear you. Unless it covers sports in ESPN 8 (The Ocho), my wife and I won’t be giving this app a second look.
