Does it include Formula 1?
Doesn't seem to include any motorsports (F1, NASCAR, IMSA, WEC, IndyCar, WRC, NHRA, etc)
Does it include Formula 1?
Yeah I didn't see table-tennis, equestrian events, water polo.....I didn’t see tennis or golf listed. I guess Apple doesn’t consider them sports.
EU probably would've forced them to cover senior citizen cricket independent leagues or face a fine.Again, for some reason it's not available in the EU. Got excited for nothing.
Don't Spanish countries usually dub movies/shows? In the Netherlands only content for children gets dubbed, everything else gets subtitled. Might explain the difference.Really? I live in Guatemala, and it's still 50/50 whether any streaming service will offer subtitles in Spanish. About 7.5% of the world's population speaks Spanish. Best I can tell, about .004% of the world's population speaks Dutch.
I'm not questioning you, I just wonder how that's possible.
seems like everything except iPhone (and maybe Vision Pro this year) is the red-headed stepchild Apple ignores and gives the bare minimum attentionWould it kill the company that created iPhone iPad and Apple Watch to actually release an app that’s supported for all the damn devices they make? Maybe next year!
It's iPhone only because the iPad developers are busy working on the calculator app for iPad.Another iPhone-only app...
Was really that important to develop?
Folks…..this App must of somehow just got accidentally released. It was a summer project for one of their grade-school interns. Not to worry. Apple would never release anything this bad.
P.S. Pretty good stuff though for a 12-year old.
Wrong answer. Tennis and golf are major international sports. So is auto racing. This app is unfinished and should never have been released as-is. Of course, all of the Apple apologists will see it otherwise.Yeah I didn't see table-tennis, equestrian events, water polo.....
Jesus. They went with some sports first and will add more sports later. Talk about getting frothy for no reason.
For movies in theaters it's usually dubbed. But for streaming services? It's hit or miss for non-spanish speaking shows. Except in Apple TV, where you can always get both dub and subs.Don't Spanish countries usually dub movies/shows? Sorry but golf and tennis are pretty big sports. I didn’t see any mention of them coming later. Of course they’ve never been incorporated with Siri or AppleTV either so its more likely whoever is working on this at Apple doesn’t think either is worth spending time on.Yeah I didn't see table-tennis, equestrian events, water polo.....

It displays scores. You want to stare at an empty page with no scores? No NFL, what a miss.
If your only idea was an app that displays sports scores, your app company wouldn't have went far anywayI kind of hate the fact that this thing exists.
As a developer who has been thinking about leaving the startup world in favor of indie app development… god what's even the point in trying to make new products, the FAANGs sherlock and eat everything.
The way it was released and the app itself being so bare boned is just weird. Tim Cook is promoting it on Twitter. Most of the responses are pointing out what’s missing and how it’s kind of useless at the moment. Inside the app it’s referred to as Sports. But the app name is just Sport.Wrong answer. Tennis and golf are major international sports. So is auto racing. This app is unfinished and should never have been released as-is. Of course, all of the Apple apologists will see it otherwise.
Look, I’m not an Apple hater. Take a look at the gear in my signature. But the company needs calling out when it screws up.
Seriously! This totally seems like an intern projectFolks…..this App must of somehow just got accidentally released. It was a summer project for one of their grade-school interns. Not to worry. Apple would never release anything this bad.
