I didn’t see tennis or golf listed. I guess Apple doesn’t consider them sports.
Yeah I didn't see table-tennis, equestrian events, water polo.....

Jesus. They went with some sports first and will add more sports later. Talk about getting frothy for no reason.

Really? I live in Guatemala, and it's still 50/50 whether any streaming service will offer subtitles in Spanish. About 7.5% of the world's population speaks Spanish. Best I can tell, about .004% of the world's population speaks Dutch.

I'm not questioning you, I just wonder how that's possible.
Don't Spanish countries usually dub movies/shows? In the Netherlands only content for children gets dubbed, everything else gets subtitled. Might explain the difference.

Weird that I can see upcoming NBA games but not upcoming MLB games in spring training. Besides just missing features, it’s just missing data.

Would it kill the company that created iPhone iPad and Apple Watch to actually release an app that’s supported for all the damn devices they make? Maybe next year!
seems like everything except iPhone (and maybe Vision Pro this year) is the red-headed stepchild Apple ignores and gives the bare minimum attention

Seems kind of redundant when there’s already a sports section in Apple News, and we get live activities from the TV app. I do see football though, just no American handball, all it needs is a Motorsports section, rugby, and yodeling.

Folks…..this App must of somehow just got accidentally released. It was a summer project for one of their grade-school interns. Not to worry. Apple would never release anything this bad.

P.S. Pretty good stuff though for a 12-year old.

I’ve seen way better stuff from 12 years olds honestly, some of the stuff Apple puts out is baffling.

Hope this will soon have more European football leagues and Champions Leagues. I'd like to replace my ad ridden score app with this one.

Wrong answer. Tennis and golf are major international sports. So is auto racing. This app is unfinished and should never have been released as-is. Of course, all of the Apple apologists will see it otherwise.

Look, I’m not an Apple hater. Take a look at the gear in my signature. But the company needs calling out when it screws up.

For movies in theaters it's usually dubbed. But for streaming services? It's hit or miss for non-spanish speaking shows. Except in Apple TV, where you can always get both dub and subs.

I wonder if this might be another avenue for Apple to show live broadcasts like their MLB Fridays or MLS matches. Be neat if so.

Where's the NFL? Can't find any teams.

Edit - No news articles, stats, game schedule, etc. - Holy crap this app sucks. About to delete it 10 seconds after downloading. Embarassing

Sorry but golf and tennis are pretty big sports. I didn’t see any mention of them coming later. Of course they’ve never been incorporated with Siri or AppleTV either so its more likely whoever is working on this at Apple doesn’t think either is worth spending time on.

I kind of hate the fact that this thing exists.

As a developer who has been thinking about leaving the startup world in favor of indie app development… god what's even the point in trying to make new products, the FAANGs sherlock and eat everything.

If your only idea was an app that displays sports scores, your app company wouldn't have went far anyway

The way it was released and the app itself being so bare boned is just weird. Tim Cook is promoting it on Twitter. Most of the responses are pointing out what’s missing and how it’s kind of useless at the moment. Inside the app it’s referred to as Sports. But the app name is just Sport.

Seriously! This totally seems like an intern project
