Goodness, folks, when you use the quote that someone has posted ... let others know. It is frustrating to get to the end of the order only to find that I one cannot receive the discount! :mad:

I notice a lot of one-post newbies coming here and asking for promo codes... I'd much rather give a code to someone whos actually contributed than to people who grab a code and never post again.

I'm not dissin the newbs, but maybe show your face a bit after you've been given a code? :)
 
Well they are sneaky and kinda lucky

I've been asking for a promo code for a while now, I'm going to buy a iMac 24" on the 1st og July, Mac Mini and an iPod from the Danish Apple Store. So if anyone could be so kind to PM me, I would be entirely grateful.

So why would you assume I would take a code and never post?

I found this great forum after cruising the net for a coupon code.

The need for a code is immediate but that doesn't mean I would hit and run.

There are a lot of threads on this board that is pretty interesting and I definitely plan on sticking around to contribute.

Plus I don't see the big deal with giving newbies codes or answering their newb questions. If it gets ppl to buy a Mac which in turn will keep them coming to this board then what's the wrong in that?

I know when I make my purchase the first thing I will do (if I get a coupon code) is to give the code to someone who needs it. Since I wont me making a $300 apple store purchase anytime soon.

If there is a 20 post or 1 month preferred minimum than thats cool too. Just let it be known so there wont be hundreds of newbies going unanswered or ignored. I think that would turn ppl away more than anything else.

just how much can one save from using a promo code on a MBP? ontop of student discount?

I'm more inclined to switch now that the new MBP has been released.
