Apple Studio Display (2022) order thread.

Out of the blue UPS showed up with my ASD today. Less than 24hrs after talking with the great woman at Apple who called up UPS immediately during our call.
This guy had even typed in the right code to let himself through the entry and was showing up outside my door. Good boy, what an accomplishment. The top notch of UPS ??

I will call Apple much earlier, if something like this ever repeats, and let them talk to some boss at whatever company it concerns much sooner next time. Rather than sitting and arguing with the idiots they connect us customers too.

All seems ok, now I can enjoy my new Apple stuff ♥️
The display is pretty large for being so small so to speak, comparing to the old 2013 iMac I had on my desk before.
I can easily get another of these nice displays.

Yes, or it was only in processing a very short time. I checked it yesterday morning and it was still in processing and at 2:48pm today I got the email that it had shipped and will arrive tomorrow. Honestly I'm still in the I'll believe it when I see it mode!!

Well they pulled it off and ASD arrived 2 hours ago. All set up and running. So far so good, the scaling took an hour or so eye adjustment but once set up it's great. This thing is beautiful and Apple's typical packing job was unbelievable! Guess I'm happily move to the ASD owners thread now!! Good luck, it can happen fast!!!

Ah got you! I hope you enjoy your new display after your patient wait! One day might see you in the owners thread... currently estimated as mid July!

Wow, finally! Congratulations! ? Hope you are enjoying your ASD, I really love it so far!! Even webcam is fine I think. ?

Got it this evening while having dinner. I updated it over on the owner's thread. This is my 4th standalone display by Apple.

What was your config and order date?
And where did you order, via which channel (normal, education, business)?
 
I ordered two identical ASD
Standard/tilt & height
One order on 3/14, second order on 3/25

Got my card charged on 5/28, delivered on 6/1

So if the same timeline holds true then my order from 3/25 should get charged on 6/8 and delivered on 6/13

Fingers crossed
 
There's been a lot of Vesa's shipped and also the Height adjusts, but not many have mentioned about the basic Tilt only model.
I ordered mine on March 19th. Estimated delivery was 20 May - 7 Jun
This morning the pending charge was put on my credit card, and I got the email from Apple saying it has shipped and should be delivered on Monday 6th :D

I'm in the UK. The Mac Studio was delivered by UPS but when I click on the Tracking link in the email, it takes me to the DPD courier site. This is good news. UPS have been okay, but I've never had any issues with DPD in years.

So... now 4 days to tidy and clean my desk to make space for a new monitor (still need the old iMac so I can run Windows for one antiquated piece of software that I need to be able to log into once in a blue moon)

Spoke too soon, the status text changed to "We’re preparing your order and will notify you when it ships." Should be shipping soon, hopefully.
 
Thought I'd put a couple of pictures up. It's mounted on the Amazon Basics Monitor Arm (unbranded Ergotron LX). It's really solid and nicely rotates to portrait mode.

Looks like a shipment of displays being dispatched around now. Here’s mine:

Standard/VESA
Adelaide, Australia
Order date: 28 March
ETA: 27 May – 10 June
Store: Education

Flipped to shipped, from Processing, today (2 June). Shipped from interstate (Syd) too.

Edit: Delivered 3 June.
I am amazed that despite the lockdown restrictions, mine was delivered within the delivery window. I was prepared for a delay. All the best to those that are waiting!

My 3/11 tilt/height went preparing to ship this morning. Original window May 10-24, rescheduled to June 23-30.

Well on the other side of the Baltic, the great Apple lady I talked didn’t seem to help UPS get the lead out, I still have no monitor and UPS has no idea where it is.

Studio Display - Standard glass - Tilt- and height-adjustable stand
Ordered on March 8, 2022 ~9:00 pm through the education store and paid for express delivery

Original estimated delivers: April 13 to 20
Received email on April 20 with a new estimated delivers: April 28 to May 5
Received another email on May 5 with estimated delivers: Jun 6 to Jun 13
Received tracking number on May 30 and received the item on June 1

Delivery method: UPS Next Day Air Saver from Rialto, CA and no signature required.

My ASD Standard/Tilt/Height arrived on June 1 via Deliver-It. Both the Apple (June 2) and Deliver-It (May 31) ETAs proved to be wrong, but Deliver-It did call me ahead of time and did require a signature. My order was placed on March 8th.

So far I'm very happy with the display. I agree with other posters that the camera is not great, but the build quality of the display is solid. I really like the height adjustable stand. I'm taller than average and I am able to set this at the perfect height for myself. I'm using with a MacBook Pro 14" and have the MacBook sitting in a Twelve South BookArc.
