Memory capacity wouldn't be 120GB exactly.
It would be formatted and have less (like how 8gb ipods are actually 7gb)

is that how apple has always had it?
from the iTouch page on apple.com

its not wether its 1000mb or 1024mb, the formatted capacity is less.;)

I think that's how they defined it on the iPod, but the OS (until 10.6) defined it as 10012MB (or whatever.)

... I could be wrong :p

Perhaps it's a 128GB SSD, and the formatted capacity is 120GB ;)

With the inclusion of the second video, this seems a bit more convincing. I can see the hardware/software teams work with fake stuff. That's how the iPhone was developed. Software team had bogus hardware, and hardware team had bogus software.

This might be the case. Consider the magic word might. So, OP, you have my benefit of doubt. Just like the guy who leaked the current Mac Mini videos, I find this hard to believe, but has a *very* high plausibility chance. The software integration is beautiful and very smooth for that type of usage. Although, I have to admit, you don't show much of the software, just 0:12 second previews. It'd be nice to see a full 1:00 of actual testing. Maybe send me that in a PM?

Call me gullible, but I actually believe these to be real. Let's see what goes down, but so far, I'm impressed.

If these are fakes, which I am assuming they are congrats on making such good fakes. You made it on Gizmodo.

I'm going to have to say this is fake. If he could just show a simple video of the whole device and maybe a picture or two then I would be more inclined to believe him. As it is....no.

I think it may be worth pointing out, again, that there hasn't been any claim that this is 'the' hardware. In fact, quite the opposite.

I'll save you the trouble of reading the whole thread and translate some of the broken English...this is 'generic' hardware for software development...not the actual product. The claim is that the software is a development version of the OS for the mythical tablet device.

Also, as you would expect from an unfinished peice of software, there are rough edges: missing system wide keyboard and borked buttons.

Dude, NO WAY the OS Version is going to be exactly the same as the iPhone 3.0 (7A341)
The OS does have entries for this device (iProd0,1) (iProd1,1 in 3.1 beta) so I don't see why not.

Also, as you would expect from an unfinished peice of software, there are rough edges: missing system wide keyboard and borked buttons.
Since each app seems to be a separate instance of an iPhone app it makes sense to have the keyboard attached to the app if only to not have to work around how they are supposed to react to a full screen keyboard versus the way it works on a real iPhone.

At least in dev stages I mean.

This tablet has to run the existing iPhone apps, otherwise it's a bit moot.
