These AliExpress venders have no shame. Just steal the photos from Apple and knock off their bands. Who knows what you will get for <$10? Not saying don't order but at least take and post your own photos of your product.

These bands cost <$10 to make … most of the time you get a similar band without branding. I’d take the risk for $10

That schedule has not changed today Sept 12

BUT
Apple store still shows September 23 availability on the UItra.
What am I missing?

I was able to find my tracking number shortly after ordering using the UPS website to see what deliveries are coming to my home. It seems to be sitting state-side since the label was created here vs in china like my iPhones.

This is usually dependent on the band you selected. Unfortunately Apple ships watch+band instead of separate. So the delay is in band production.

Although if you are talking about the main page with the Ultra shown (available Sept 23) that is just advertising. Actually ordering will yield different results based on band selection.
I doubt there are even any band combos that would give you Sept 23

I just recheck all 9 variations and the closest is September 29th for the yellow swim band.

Which is silly, I doubt Apple will ever just sell the watch (w/o) band, but it would be nice to separate them....unless you are a first time buyer of course!

I ordered a 41mm Series 8 for my wife. By the time I got around to ordering it Apple was already estimating late this month, but Best Buy showed (and still does) that orders through them will get here on release day!

I noticed it in some photos I found online. It's going to look odd to purchase 45mm bands for the Ultra....

Had a Apple Watch Series 6 41mm SS. I wanted to buy a 45mm and thought... why not going an Apple Watch Series 8 SS then? And so it happened.
