Placed an order for pickup on Sep 22 at 10:30am. I'm not signing up to be tormented by FedEx again 😂.

Same except I’m sticking with my Ultra 1. Nothing enticing with the ultra 2 worth wasting more money on.

I certainly understand that you are interested in getting the new Apple Watch Ultra 2 , today the new Apple Watch Ultra 2 was announced by Apple and will be available for pre-ordering in September 15th for shipping method only (In September 22th will possibly be available for ordering at the stores because at the moment Apple only provides a low stock for the carriers to sell the new models), once you order the watch in September 15th, it could take within 6 business days for it to arrive due to the high demand on them for the pre-order.
I was REALLY excited and hopeful this morning for the black ultra 2 but I sat glued to the iPad at work waiting for the part where they announced the colors and it never happened. i frumped publicly like a 5 year old. Now idk… I don’t think I’ll buy this year. My series 7 stainless is still perfect.
I'm trading in my Granite SS S7 for an alum S9 in midnight. Am keeping my Ultra from last year, of course, but decided that my 2nd watch doesn't need to be up-market. I find that I always want to wear the Ultra anyway - but the 2 finger tap might be appealing. Will be fun to experiment with it. Next year I'll break the bank again with an iPhone 16 and the newest Ultra.
Have also ordered an Alpine Loop strap in the new Indigo color. Total sucker for watch bands of all types - I think making the bands interchangeable was the smartest thing Apple could have done!

I'm with you. If the black Ultra was released I would definitely have pulled the trigger on that. I'm upgrading from a Series 4 so I'm going to upgrade regardless, but can't justify the Ultra without it being black. So I'll likely just get a 9.
This is probably what I’ll do.. upgrade my 14 pro max and series 7 next year.

it’s ok. Next year is tenth anniversary. Apple likes to make big deals outta that.
In the past the iPhone has shipped UPS. I then have it rerouted to be held at local UPS CCC. How has the Apple Watch shipped? If FedEx can I have it rerouted to a FedEx Store?

Changed from Magnetic fabric band (out of stock) to Sport band and order went thru.
Will change out bands after Apple store gets them in....
I ordered a 41mm Graphite SS S9 to upgrade from my titanium S5. This will be my first SS watch and I am interested to see how the weight of the SS will feel compared to titanium and aluminum. The sapphire display is a deal-breaker for me since I find the ion-x glass to scratch easily. The sapphire on my S5 is still pristine four years later even after being bumped on rocks and metal poles!
