is there a way to turn on weekly weather screen on the inforgram modular like how they had it on the normal modular version?

Kindle Watch Reader, would be a very useful Apple Watch App.

It’s been disappointing that many apps still won’t work with infograph modular, including some of Apple’s own apps. What’s particularly confusing is how some (e.g., stocks) have been added to the infograph watch face, but not the infograph modular. I really expected it to be worked out by now and it’s a shame that I’m not able to use that watch face since for me it would be the perfect watch face.

Edit: I just noticed that stocks works in infograph modular, but only in “Middle”, but the problem is that’s the only place where the Calendar complication works, which means you wouldn’t be able to use both the Stocks and Calendar complications, which is a nonstarter for me.

I find the infograph modular to be a bit odd. It has 5 complications compared to the 8 of the regular infograph, and one is huge and takes up a lot of space. And no seconds on the digital time! The only digital watch face with seconds is the activity digital which wastes a lot of space with the huge activity rings.

I'm missing a really good digital watchface for the Apple watch with seconds and plenty of complication slots where all complications work. And why isn't notes available on the watch? I feel like Apple has some work to do until the watch reaches the point where it's as consistent as it should be

You can put the digital time with seconds on the infograph face on the sub dial top slot.

I know, but it's not a digital watchface. When I'm in a digital mood I don't want the analog hands that may cover the digital time. It's great that it's an option, but it's not a substitute for a true digital watchface.

I completely agree and find it very odd that you can get a digital time with seconds on the analog version of infograph but not the digital version.

I completely agree with this. There are other short comings that I don't quite understand, such as why I'm able to have the calendar as a complication for modular, but not infograph modular, or why I can have the sunrise/sunset complication for infograph, but not infograph modular. I hate that I have to choose a specific watch face based on which complications it allows.

I can't understand how a company with as much money and resources that take pride in ease of use and consistency can't spend the time to update their own complications for the new watch faces. I they can't, how do they expect thirty party developers to do it?

I just got my S4 for Christmas and I’m dumfounded at the stock Apple Radio and podcasts not showing on the new faces. I did some research that led me to this thread and I’m actually mortified that Apple, a company that thrives on their quest for meticulousness and attention to detail would have such a disparity between what stock app complications work and don’t on their new and highly anticipated faces.

I’m also mortified at the rollout of all this. It’s nuts.

Maybe Apple will add them in an update like they did with the Messages & Phone complication... here’s hoping.

The lack of complications for the infograph face is why I'm not as excited to upgrade from my Series 1. My son has the 4 and it is, OK. Faster, yes. But not worth the $400 to upgrade. My Series 1 is still kicking along and I love it.

It’s a massive difference in every respect - but as long as you love your current watch there is no need to upgrade it.

Actually 1 to the 4 is a massive upgrade really but if your older generation works to your daily life then i agree not worth upgrading.

I am a huge watch fan. As I setup my son's 4 and played with it I found that my stupid 1 does everything I need (timer, messages, reminders/schedule, weather, activity tracker, heart monitor). It is slower but it gets there. Glad my son's dad paid for his watch :) That said, the 4 is amazing for him. He has autism and I would recommend the 4 for anyone with autism. The timer has helped him get more in tune with how long it takes him to do things and to remember things (when to check on the oven, etc.) He also uses the timer to take breaks between working on his tasks. He is getting more responsible as he gets older (22) and I wonder how much of it has been due to apple devices in augmenting some of his difficulties (memory, motivation, breaking things down into smaller pieces, doing things on his own, finding his way around town using maps, etc). Because he puts his phone on silent and can't always feel the haptic ringing, the watch deals with that. He also hates carrying around the cell phone so as long as it is nearby he can answer the phone on his wrist (it is super loud!) Simply an amazing device. For my son, it is worth $400 a year. For me? Mine was $200 and I'm hoping it lasts 3-4 years. YMMV I guess.

Dexcom just updated their app (diabetes management) and it now works with the new watch face. That’s great since I’ve been waiting for it.

What’s bizarre to me is that for the Infograph Modular face, the Stocks app only works in the middle where the calendar is and so you would need to choose between the two. On the regular modular face it works on all the complications. I really hope they fix this.

Hey all,
I realize before I even post this that no one will likely be able to help me with this, at least not yet. But I still wanted to mention it.

I was looking through the online manual for the Apple Watch which is already updated for series 4. In particular I was looking at all the available Watch Faces and it lists all the complications each watch face can use. What I found interesting, or maybe I should say distressing, is that for both the new infograph and modular infograph watch faces, it does not list Podcast as a complication you can add! This is the app I use the most on my watch by far and I was shocked to see the new watch faces apparently can't display a complication for it!

I wonder why they would leave it off?

I'm hoping this is just an error but it very well may not be. I was really looking forward to the infograph watch face because I thought I could have all the complications I use on a single face. Sadly that may not be the case now.

If this turns out to be true, it's lessened my excitement for the Series 4.
