Feel the same way. We should be able to choose whatever complications we want. I want Home, Anylist, Remote, Phone, Maps, Stocard.... Really like this watch face but if I have to swipe to use my most used complications, what's the point?
Very lame...not sure how they released it like this. Mine arrived Friday and not even excited now.
That is what I'd like too!I wish one could make the analogue hands disappear completely! And the ring as well! I would then put the digital time in the top spot in the middle and would have 7 more spots for nice, clearly visible at all times complications.
What. The. Actual. F. Just happened?
Finally got my 40mm SS today and spent an hour trying to find out why Strava wouldn't appear as a complication.
Then I see this thread.
Are. You. *****. Kidding me.
******** product. Can't believe I bought this crap. My AW3 was miles better. I could tap any app I wanted right from the modular watch face. AW4 was supposed to upgrade me to 8. Instead I get downgraded to 0 third party apps? Tim is a slimy corporate hyper-profiteering shill and Apple is a half-arsed arrogant clown-fest.
£700 too! Ahaha!
/vent
AW4 still has the previous modular face..
I’ll jump in here too.
I use complications from specific apps. None of which work on the new watch faces so I’m still using the old modular design.
Kinda pointless upgrading my Series 3.
Anyone notice the stock Weather compilation is not available?
Just noticed it missing, whereas it’s showing on another of my watch faces.
??
I have not only the stock Weather complication, but a Weather Conditions one.

For those who haven't read the entire thread, see this page for tech details on complications. As you can see, there are now 9 different complication sizes/styles that devs have to account for. (And yes, Apple should've gotten all their 1st party ones done prior to release):
https://developer.apple.com/design/...watchos/icons-and-images/complication-images/
So is this a case of Apple will allow complications once third party devs catch up, or are Apple locking these faces down because Apple want to control how it looks like some overbearing nun?
It is entirely on third-party developers that Infograph-compatible complications are still not available weeks after launch. Several of my 3rd-party apps have released updates with Infograph-compatible complications. (I would use Strava if it supported the two-button pause/start function. As it is, after a run of any length, I can't stop the Strava workout until I get to a towel and dry my hands and watch.)What. The. Actual. F. Just happened?

When devs update - carrot wasn’t there and they updated the app and now they are

Thanks fully third party developers can update their complications to work on this face. Cardiogram and HeartWatch come to mind.
But Apple not updating their own complications is just weird. It’s not like they’re a small company with limited resources or anything...

Tim and the crew were having parties all year until Late August before started working on AW4.
They had to hurry up and release it unfinished.
Walkie-talkie works 40% of the time, infograph cannot have mail or messages or phone or most 3rd party apps, and the sport bands are same bands from 38mm watch so the watch feels 2mm too long using the same hole and too tight using the hold next to it.
ECG is still in the works.
But they jacked up the price by $70 like Elon Musk took $1000 deposits from people promising $35K electric luxury car and he is still only making $49K+ Model 3.
I guess hundreds of app developers must have “partied” as well. Put blame where it belongs.
Seriously though, you need to switch to Android. You even sound like those folks.
