Feel the same way. We should be able to choose whatever complications we want. I want Home, Anylist, Remote, Phone, Maps, Stocard.... Really like this watch face but if I have to swipe to use my most used complications, what's the point?

Tim and the crew were having parties all year until Late August before started working on AW4.
They had to hurry up and release it unfinished.
Walkie-talkie works 40% of the time, infograph cannot have mail or messages or phone or most 3rd party apps, and the sport bands are same bands from 38mm watch so the watch feels 2mm too long using the same hole and too tight using the hold next to it.
ECG is still in the works.
But they jacked up the price by $70 like Elon Musk took $1000 deposits from people promising $35K electric luxury car and he is still only making $49K+ Model 3.

Anyone notice the stock Weather compilation is not available?
Just noticed it missing, whereas it’s showing on another of my watch faces.

What. The. Actual. F. Just happened?

Finally got my 40mm SS today and spent an hour trying to find out why Strava wouldn't appear as a complication.

Then I see this thread.

Are. You. *****. Kidding me.

******** product. Can't believe I bought this crap. My AW3 was miles better. I could tap any app I wanted right from the modular watch face. AW4 was supposed to upgrade me to 8. Instead I get downgraded to 0 third party apps? Tim is a slimy corporate hyper-profiteering shill and Apple is a half-arsed arrogant clown-fest.

£700 too! Ahaha! :D

Edit: just realised that modular is hidden away, not just replaced by Infograph Modular.

Still completely blows, but yes at least we have the old modular.

Philips Hue app just updated, with Siri shortcuts support and finally can be installed to a series 4 watch. Yay.

Except the complication doesn’t work on the new watch faces.

Their complication by the way, consists of static text: “Hue”.

Did apple make this infographic spectacularly hard to code for?

All they had to do was add text to a button and launch the app.

I don't even understand why they need to be rewritten. Some of them are very similar size/shape already - why not let us use those in 'imperfect' form until the devs update them to be optimised?

But then why do we have to put X complication in Y box anyway? No reason I can see that there have to be these proscribed limitations

I decided that not having the Mail app available on the Infographic screen, which for me, is the biggest reason to buy the watch, I'm going to hold off on my purchase. I'd rather not spend the $500. That may seem silly to some of you. I already submitted feedback to Apple.

I have not only the stock Weather complication, but a Weather Conditions one.

For those who haven't read the entire thread, see this page for tech details on complications. As you can see, there are now 9 different complication sizes/styles that devs have to account for. (And yes, Apple should've gotten all their 1st party ones done prior to release):

So is this a case of Apple will allow complications once third party devs catch up, or are Apple locking these faces down because Apple want to control how it looks like some overbearing nun?

It is entirely on third-party developers that Infograph-compatible complications are still not available weeks after launch. Several of my 3rd-party apps have released updates with Infograph-compatible complications. (I would use Strava if it supported the two-button pause/start function. As it is, after a run of any length, I can't stop the Strava workout until I get to a towel and dry my hands and watch.)

It is however entirely on Apple that Infograph-compatible complications are not available for several built-in apps. They should have been available on release day.

Thanks fully third party developers can update their complications to work on this face. Cardiogram and HeartWatch come to mind.

But Apple not updating their own complications is just weird. It’s not like they’re a small company with limited resources or anything...

Who says Apple is even updating their own apps? Apple may indeed just want a select few apps running on those faces...

Well, think I can live with that. I'm sure in a month from now things will be a lot better :D

But still reserving the right to be mildly irritated.

I’m wondering if being a UK user has anything to do with it?
Granted it does seem strange I am not seeing any weather compilations on either of the Infograph faces. All are available on any other watch face.

I guess hundreds of app developers must have “partied” as well. Put blame where it belongs.

Seriously though, you need to switch to Android. You even sound like those folks.

I have a Samsung Note & an iphone. We are talking about watches here. Are you going to suggest a better smart watch? I bet this Android Smart watch you're going to suggest isn't even up to par.
