Arizona adapter actually doesn't look that bad. I think it would work great with SS Link bands. Do you have any SS bands?

Actually my pictures are so high resolution (taken with iphone 6) they don't look nice at all, the finish looks very cheap. The sides are chromed though. I don't have any SS bands for the apple watch. May not get any unless i can find a US based seller for one of those SS Link Band clones i saw in the OEM/Replica Bands thread. I don't want to order from Aliexpress.

But i can see where you are going with that question. Because i was going to mention this would look nice with one of those fake/clone milanese bands. If you look at the original apple milanese band adpater it does have a similar wider profile where the band connects.

My observation comes from the fact that most traditional SS watches with SS Link bands have larger connector sides which give them a bolder look that matches the "heavy" SS bands.

Ultimately, I believe it's a matter of personal preferences.

Very accurate observations, it's also to create a more fitted appearance, a tapered look rather than a complete drop off from watch case to band.

Bright blue band is on the new style, the black one is on the old style, notice on the new style how it's wider where the band fits via springbars. It's not as thick as the 'click' one but looks horrible.
I wouldn't mind wider lugs (though eventually in space gray), but the picture with the two adapters nose-to-nose, the new adapter (on the blue band), the inner edge of the adapter closest to the end of the band - it looks really not straight, almost as if it had been hand-filed. But I don't get that from the other pictures... Camera playing funny tricks? Me misinterpreting?

No camera trickery, i would say the 'new' ones are pretty much unfinished and hand tweaked or using a mold that was made by hand or something. For 10$ a pop was worth a shot.

From what I've been reading 22mm should work for the 38mm watch.

That's a 24mm Diesel band I picked up at a store called Time After Time in the King of Prussia Mall outside Philadelphia. *I have a 42mm watch.

That's such a striking band that I would like to pick up one for my SGS. Hence, I've been searching around and calling around - even to the Diesel store out here in the Silicon Valley - to try to find where I might be able to see and buy one. However, I'm coming up empty in my search.

Do you have the model / name / any kind of "searchable" details on that black leather band? Do you still have the packaging for it that would have that data? And if you don't mind (and understand if you decline to answer), how much did it cost?

Thanks!

So, can anyone confirm an adapter with an actual color and texture match for the Space Gray models? Everything I've seen (even the Clockwork Synergy) is a few shades off. If I didn't look at my watch every 10 minutes, I wouldn't care so much about the difference in color.

For me the black one matches just fine (you can see my pictures above). At least for the Space Gray Sport, the band itself is black and where it attaches to the watch it doesn't match either. So black adapters fits with the typical style of the watch as Apple has designed it.

I saw the pictures and they definitely fit and look good. Ideally, I'd want a closer match than that...maybe I'm just being overly picky. I just don't know if a "perfect match" is even in production...it doesn't seem like it.

I just got these adapters here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011PTGTEA

While they are not an exact match to the space gray on the Apple watch, it is very close to it. Of everything I have the bandsai is the closest match so far. My other adapters (from utica guy & Stotch(tm) that are gray in color have a polished finish and look shiny/glossy. These actually have a matte finish and they match really well but they are not perfect. The fit is pretty nice and snug also.

Received my WatchShoppe adapters and they fit very well. I got an extra set of "Silver" adapters 42mm for the sport watch. Decided to sell the sport and keep the SS model.

If anyone wants, PM me they're brand new and never opened.

Any chance you have a photo of these adapters on an actual watch? I wonder how's the color match...
(or maybe you can take a photo of these on a back of a silver iphone?)

Unfortunately, I don't have the Sport watch anymore. I haven't tested them they are still packed. But just from looking at them, they seem pretty close to the aluminum finish on the Sport AW.
WatchShoppe has the best adapters IMO on the market so far. They fit amazingly well.

I received my 42mm adapters today from freedomclock09 on eBay. I was setting up to do a full review, but I had issues with both adapters sets. I ordered the Spring Bar style and Apple Watch Bar style in Grey/Black to go on my Space Grey SS. The Spring Bar style matches the SBSS very well in color and the Apple Watch Bar style matches the SGS better, but looks ok on SBSS.

The main issue I have is with the Apple Watch Bar style. One of the adapters arrived with one partly stripped screw and the other screw is lock-tighted in so neither screw can be removed. The screws on the second adapter were removable, but they arrived screwed in at a slight angle, so they don't go back in all the way. I've asked for an exchange or refund and I'll see what happens.

UPDATE: fredomclock09 is sending me a replacement and told me to keep the damaged goods. :)

The issue I have with the Spring bar adapter is the size of it. It only works for thin leather straps. I have a custom Strap that is a little thicker than some leather straps, however it isn't unusually thick. I was going to use it in my review, but the spring bar adapter won't work with it. I'll keep this adapter for my thinner straps, but I need to know if anyone has seen or owns a bigger adapter for thicker leather bands?

Spring Bar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271877878312?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=570755372805&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Apple Watch Bar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271929470540?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=570766663135&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Here are photo's of the adapters and a photo showing the adapter won't fit my thicker band. Note: I took these photo's before I realized I had issues with the screws. You will notice the screws for the adapter on the right in the second photo below aren't all the way in. That is as far in as they will go, which leaves the bar loose.

Too bad freedomoclock does not send to the netherlands, would love to get a pair of his space gray spring bar adapters. They look very very good !

Got a pair of cheap springbar adapters on its way form ebay, but they are (supposed to be) black. Maybe even shiny.

Unless freedomclock has a different set of spring bar adapters than what I posted above, the ones I received are shiny on the sides and best match the Space Black more than Space Gray.

I was browsing all the comments on the Click! Kickstarter campaign and saw a few recommendations for the springbar-type adapters from GMYLE so I thought I'd give them a try.
I bought the 42mm in space-grey.
The pictures on Amazon show the hole for the springbar going all the way through the lug but the ones I received have a blind hole. I have no problem with this since most of my other watches use a blind hole and I've never had a problem.
The weird thing here is that they also include a knockoff of Apple's SIM card removal tool that you'd think would be for removing the springbars but since the hole is blind, the tool serves no purpose.
It also comes with four springbars.
The fit is really nice and there are no tooling marks but the color is not a very good match (it's got a sort of chocolatey-brown tint) and the finish they use is polished and shiny. It's a very obvious mismatch to the space-grey watch.
I'm going to stick with the matte-black Apple-type adapters I got off of eBay.
