I’ve ordered gold ss, delivers on 1st November but now seeing there are gold ss and graphite to collect from store on 15th. I’m not sure whether I should stick to the gold or change to graphite. I’m worried the gold will be to “blingy” any advice appreciated
I had silver on order and just snagged a graphite for pickup. Cancelled the silver. I feel your dilemma.
Doesn't gold shows off scratches too easily?
It’s so hard, I have a space black series 3 just never upgrade cos I can’t decide on colour
Just made an order for Oct. 15 pick-up. The 41mm Green Aluminum Case with Clover Sport Band is still readily available for launch day in the SoCal area.
That’s what I’m worried about and also it’s gonna look too dressy with casual attire 🤨
I think that gold SS looks great with suits and smart wear in an evening out but a bit too flashy for casual.

I had the SSS before my STi. Always wished I stuck with the SSS, so I get it. I'd probably go Graphite before gold because IMO, the darker color which has a nice shine should go with more bands etc. I had that same Space Black. Always dug it. Figured the Graphite would be good middle ground this time out. Sadly, I drank the Apple Kool Aid years ago so I'll probably get the 8. A year or so with the SSG will be manageable

ّI have done this a lot and have always found it to be pain. I have always been on hold for a LONG time (maybe because I always do it around launch time), AND you do not get the full value back. Trying monthly for now on all my devices despite the fact that it is more expensive.
Correct, it's prorated. I think that's fair. It usually doesn't take me long. I just ask for the AppleCare Plan Management person to cancel a plan. If I sell my old gear on eBay or trade it in, depending on what deal I make with a buyer, I'm either using the AppleCare + as a sale incentive to a buyer, or cancelling and getting my money. I like the option
I recieved my email confirmation for 45mm space black titanium with the cherry braided loop at 8:02 EDT and recieved a delivery time frame of October 26-28. Hopefully the timeframe will move up but I am not counting on it.
So I’ve went for the graphite think it’ll be better, plus I ordered the wrong size strap with the gold so the thought of having to wait 3 weeks then return it was stressing me out. Coming to hang out with you all now. I couldn't decide if I wanted to order since I have a series 6. Of course I missed out on launch day delivery. I was able to preorder from Target and use some gift cards. It says delivery Oct 18-21. I've never ordered any Apple devices from them so fingers crossed. I went with the Starlight 45mm.
As much as I like the gold SS, I always go with the silver SS because you can dress up or down and it works. I swap out bands depending on the occasion.
I had the series 6 graphite and it worked well with a number of bands of different colours. That’s why I had no hesitation in ordering the series 7 in graphite
Congrats! I completely agree with you. Of course I had to ask my wife and all my friends which they thought I should get after I already preordered the SSS. They all said SSG ;/ Let's hope we're both beyond happy this Friday!
