this is what was happened to me while i was ordering, had the case i wanted but the bands were going out of stock
You don’t even get the full value of what is left on the plan. They don’t call it a fee or a penalty but Apple takes a cut of the balance. This may no longer be true but it was certainly true the last time I canceled Apple Care, and I have done it multiple times.
I’m interested in this as well. I had an aluminum ordered by 8:01am on Friday and didn’t even check the SS. Now I ordered an SS on Saturday and I’m wondering if I could have even ordered and received an SS by Friday.
I have never heard anyone ordering SS so far in Canada and no Apple Store in Ontario were available for pickup as soon as order opened. I didn't see the delivery date, but it's odd that all of them were unavailable, no?

Yep it’s super odd. I saw a lot of aluminum available and there are some 41mm SS available but I’ve yet to see any availability for 45mm SS.
Apple told me to check store stock on Thursday night or Friday morning. Hopefully some comes available by then for others. I’m personally too lazy to go to my apple store so I’ll wait until Nov 3rd or whenever my SS shows up. My aluminum product red will have to keep me company until then lol
Yeah I heard the same information as well. I will be going to the Apple Store if my pre-order does not move on to Preparing to Ship by next Thursday. No charges yet, so everything seems good to go so far.

This is the new wording: “
More than thirty (30) days after your receipt of this Plan, you will receive a pro-rata refund of the original purchase price. The pro-rata refund is based on the percentage of unexpired Plan Term from the Plan’s date of purchase, less the value of any benefits provided to you under the Plan.”
Some states offer additional consumer protections (as per the link above)
Im pretty sure I saw SS for delivery for Oct 15th when I ordered. I am in Ontario, Canada. Ended up ordering 45mm Natural Titanium though. Email confirmation at 8:02am and delivery is Oct 15th.
I see that in the terms but, I have never had that applied to any post 30 day refund that I am aware of. Thanks for posting. I was unaware of that particular clause.
Ontario here and ordered the 45mm Aluminum Midnight. Still processing for delivery on Friday.
I am. 41mm Silver Stainless Steel with Charcoal Braided Solo Loop. Due for delivery on October 15th. Already shipped. Placed the order within minutes of pre-orders opening up.
Gotcha. What time did you order on Friday morning and what was the original delivery estimate?
Order confirmation came through at 8:14AM, which is... late and had Nov 2nd - 9th delivery date. But the order I made before by mistake, which was at 8:04AM, still had same Nov 2nd - 9th delivery date.

Cancelled my SSS and kept the SSG for pickup. Hope I didn't choose... Poorly!

You are correct. It’s not usual because I normally customize the order and use Apple Studio. I’m so glad I’m still getting my watch this month.

Wow that’s crazy. So either no stock of the variant you ordered or the few in stock went crazy fast. I ordered a 45mm silver stainless steel with dark cherry solo loop on Saturday at like 2pm and have a Nov 3rd-10th delivery estimate.
