I've never put a case on my watches and have never had any damage or problems. My S4 aluminum body is still pristine even after bumping things and normal use. I do recommend a screen protector unless you have sapphire glass though. I do get scratches on the ion-x display. I like the soft plastic ones like this one versus the glass for the watch screen.

Both my friends watches are still preparing to ship with launch day delivery while was pushed to 3-5 business days even though we got our order in 8:03 AM EST on pre-order day.
None has shipped though. Wonder what's going on. Nothing on UPS my choice.

Just hit the 24 hour mark (maybe a few minutes short) of being charged for my 45mm Midnight Aluminum GPS watch - still zero tracking information and nothing shows in UPS My Choice, even though it still shows as being delivered tomorrow on the Apple website; unless Apple is beaming these from China I don't see how it's going to be delivered tomorrow, of course aside from it possibly already being in the US, which I've not seen (only in the case of ordering from a carrier) with Apple.

Yup, same here. In Canada. I reported yesterday that mine was due to arrive Oct. 15th, and then right afterwards it got changed to Preparing to Ship and a new estimate of "3 to 5 business days."
Thanks for the recommendation. I've got a similar one for my series 4 but I've never tried the Spigen one before. Should be ok I've had a few iPhone cases from them over the years and they were always really good.I used this for my s6. And it was pretty decent. Lasted well for a full 12 months

hows the quality on the metal bands? I love the look for the apple band, but $100 for one hurts my feelings. I have been looking at the ones online for a while, just haven't gone for it yet.
For me it started because i wanted the SBSS model, which is exclusive to hermes now.
And then i started to look at the bands and nice watch faces and somehow ended ordering one.

Just got a Shipped notification earlier today, delivery still says 19-21 for the UK of a Midnight 41mm.
FWIW, since I've seen no movement on my SS watch order I decided to order from WalMart just now. They claim I'll get it by Monday. We'll see but they still show availability if you're looking for a watch still (or one sooner). There's also 5% cashback with Discover and Chase Freedom at Walmart.com.
