So… after the event I went ahead and ordered an SE to replace my series 2. Without a release date I just wasn’t comfortable waiting for an undisclosed amount of time. I’ve got to get some things back under control health wise and needed a replacement. My series 2 was basically useless at this point because I kept running out of storage. Not to mention the fact that the OS isnt supported anymore. I still might get the series 7 later because I’m in a good place financially, but it depends on if I feel like I need the bigger screen and keyboard or not. Might manage okay without it.
Still waiting… I hope they announce that preorders start this week… ready to retire a ceramic S5… just cant take holding off another year…
If it was the S7 then either it may have been a prototype or the watch is actually in production

I don’t recall seeing the screen on so could be a dummy model of the S7 as product placement or something
Since they released very few details about the watch it feels like they’re going to need to do another mini keynote video to properly introduce the watch, including pricing etc. Maybe a video on Tuesday, orders start Friday.
I don’t think that will happen. I think it’ll just be released via press release. Apple already did the introduction of the watch

That would be awesome. It was weird not having to have a brand new watch around when the iPhone 13 got released. But it’s all good. It gives people more time to save up $$, haha. I have a feeling it will be released sometime in October.
This might seem out of place in this thread, but I didn't want to create a separate one. I have a very important suggestion. Do not use fast charging with this watch. Battery degradation is already bad enough with 5w charging, imagine how bad it will be with a USB-C cable.
I've never owned an Apple watch. The magnet charger comes in the box with the S7 so are you suggesting I use the 5w charger with it? But from what I see the magnet charger has a USB-C to lightning mechanism.
Why do you care about Wi-Fi inflight. Do you honestly think they will sell out? Some stores still have iPhone 13’s in stock
The post was in jest, yet it remains the case that I prefer to order at launch in order to fit my travel schedule.
I have to think Apple may have tested this before making the announcement.
