Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

I thought I could make starlight work as it was my initial preorder, but after the reviews and especially after seeing it in person I have changed my mind.
It looks absolutely beautiful and can be silver or gold depending on how light catches it, however it’s way too soft and feminine for me 😂

Stainless Steel Graphite picked up from Apple Store successfully 😁😁

Very happy with my choice, colour is very similar to the bands on graphite 13 pro, perhaps very slightly lighter.

Going to be changing to my leather loop though and using the Milanese for dressier occasions.

Picked my baby up! Don’t want everyone to see my goodies so won’t be getting them out on the train. 😂 is everyone else going naked or getting a case/screen protector? It’s my first AW, and I’m the sort of person that likes to keep my phones/iPads pristine but I haven’t bought anything to protect my AW. I’m thinking I wouldn’t protect a normal Watch so should I really bother with this? Hope I don’t regret it, it’s a GSS if that makes a difference? I do have apple care too.

i pre-ordered at my local APR and am now waiting for the email telling me i can pick it up. i was one of the few that chose the green alu model in 45mm. hoping to get my email soon, to hyped to wait any longer

Don’t think you need to worry about SS it should be fine. I wouldn’t cover up that great look with a case

I always get a protector but I do hate that it ruins the aesthetic. The amount of times that I’ve knocked my watch on a door frame etc makes me glad that I’ve got one though but that’s just me. My husband has never protected his watch and it doesn’t have a scratch on it.

High street observations from the UK - Apple opened up with zero midnight and starlight for walk ins. They do however have stock of product Red, Green and a handful of Nike configurations.

No other retailer has stock day one apart from John Lewis, who despite no singing and dancing store display actually have several models in stock if you ask them.

Currys have stock for next day delivery of the aluminium models.

Love the Series 7 SS Graphite 45mm, the screen size increase from my S6 is very noticable, have noticed some apps don't play nicely with the Series 7 for some reason but it's only the app icon thankfully, even restoring from a backup or setting it up as new watch 4 of my many apps shows a blank icon but still tappable and the app itself works fine.

Carrot weather is one of them, the app icon is just blank but for some reason all of the blank icons shows up just fine on the iPhones watch app overview.
