It’s arrived. All set up before I had to leave for work

It’s definitely not as blue as I thought. Looks like a very dark navy, but also looks black under certain light.

I want to restore from a backup but I have watchOS 8.0.1 in my current Apple Watch and the new Apple Watch probably has watchOS 8.0. Anybody figure out a good way of doing this?

Just to make sure I unpaired the old one which should back it up, setup the new watch as new, install the update and wipe the new watch. Then set it up and restore from a backup.

Yippee 🥳 Delivered ! I was on the fence about starlight but really love it. It's now all set up and I added the new OS . The only thing that bugs me is the red dot not centered in the contour face . That's my OCD kicking in but I'll get used to it ;-))))

I went full stock. Midnight Band with Midnight Watch

Looks great, I though it was the abyss one, because the midnight bands looked much more grayish in the press shots.
I've ordered the Midnight Watch with the Abyss band. I still have to find some photographs of this combo, but I think it will look great as well

Stainless Steel Graphite picked up from Apple Store successfully 😁😁

Very happy with my choice, colour is very similar to the bands on graphite 13 pro, perhaps very slightly lighter.

Going to be changing to my leather loop though and using the Milanese for dressier occasions.

I tried a new option this year and had the package held at a UPS locker at the Customer Center. 24 hr access and it was available super early! Headed over to get it shortly!

Right as I made my first Espresso the UPS guy was ringing at the door. With a huge grin he gave me the parcel "Have fun!"

Depends on the light this color look very different. From goldish to silverish to rosy.

On the 3rd image you see the silver puk and the starlight watch in comparison.

I love the color. And I am happy I have chosen the smaller size.

So I’ve been to Newcastle to collect my Midnight aluminium…

But accidentally bought the SS

I got there early and they checked stock and had one silver and one graphite with Milanese loop.

So he reserved both so I could pick in store.

It’s my first SS watch and it’s much nicer than I appreciated before.

Also I love the animation on the watch face as you raise your wrist.
