Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

I have just spent 60 minutes on the phone with EE trying to transfer my data plan from my old watch (Series 4) to the new watch (Series 7) without success.

Did anyone have success with it?

These are the steps I followed:

1. Unpair old phone (keep data plan when asked).
2. Pair new phone.
3. Click on set up data plan, when the option appears from the EE website, clicked "Replace data plan". I showed me an error message and to call 150 with error code 003
4. Called 150, spent 60 minutes, gave them my EID etc. and at the end she goes and says that I need to restart both devices, unpair the watch and pair it again, and click "set up new mobile plan for £7", which I'm not happy with as I'm paying £5 now.
5. In any case, I'm trying to click on set up new mobile plan and now I get "connection failed, the connection to the server was lost. Please try again later".

Did anyone manage to sort out EE?
I'm hanging fire as there is a queue on the phone - I am keeping my S5 that has the plan on (the £5 one) anyway so no rush to transfer. I know it will be a nightmare and no way I am moving to the £7 one as i just want it removed from one and put to the other.
 
What are people using as reference number to find package? I tried my phone number and order number. Can you still do this with apple shipments?

Swapped one S6 plan to the S7 on EE with very little hassle this year, called 150 and went through to their technical department and said I had the error code 003, I simply gave the person my new EID only and that was it, never even rebooted my watch or phone and the whole process took about 15mins.

EE last year were a pain in the ass as she had no idea what to do and I was the one who had to explain how to do it, took almost an hour last year.

Mine shows out for delivery! Looks like I have a bunch of missing scans because it just went from Buffalo, NY to ‘out for delivery’ from my local delivery facility in Ontario, Canada.

But if I get it, I’m not complaining!

I’m slightly annoyed that I have the option to pickup the same configuration in-store, while i’ll probably be waiting the entire day today for delivery haha

Wow SS just appeared for pickup here in DFW area. I snagged a SS Midnight. When aluminum gets here it goes back. I’m socked and amazed they appeared. All DFW stores are showing availability
Same story in Chicago! We've been comparing notes for a while now. Happy that the last chapter was the same for us both - AVAILABILITY!
 
Well my joy I short lived - my watch was scheduled to arrive today but it's stuck in Indiana so now the scheduled date says pending. I hope they may deliver tomorrow (Fedex is the only carrier that will deliver on a Sunday here outside of the Christmas holiday rush). I can't wait to see y'alls pics

You mean you did it this morning and it only took 15 minutes?

Could you please provide the steps you followed?
 
If it helps, mine just changed to arrived at facility like 10 seconds ago. UPS making me look dumb 😅 If yours is coming to OKC/central US then yours might have updated too.
Do you see anything in the OKC Penn Sq Apple Store?

I was surprised as well. I wasn’t able to do the trade in when I first ordered. I took advantage of this to swap out and get my trade done. Sweet!!!

Congrats, when did your status go to ‘Shipped’ in the Apple store?

Once I gave them my new S7 EID and he swapped it over on their end, I went into the iPhone app mobile data and instead of 003 it just went straight trough without any errors, literally didn't do anything else. To check all was working I disabled my iPhones wifi and bluetooth as well as the watch wifi and the EE cellular kicked in just fine. Best thing to do is speak to someone else as some agents seem to have issues transferring the plans properly.

Called 150 then 1, 2, 1, 1, 2

I have figured out why both my iPhone 13PM and my Watch Series 7 have gone to Windsor Locks, CT rather than JFK. The terminal that is around the corner from my office was damaged in Hurricane Ida and is in the process of being repaired. They had to move operations to another terminal in CT that is a lot further north and closer to Windsor Locks. Anyway, I am still happy it will be delivered on time.
