For some reason stainless steel was heavy. I didn't like it one bit. Also, it was prone to scratchesThat's the only reason I did not order the Hermes' watch
SS is heavier, but not by much. 44 MM SS is about 10 grams heavier than Aluminum. SS silver will get scratches on the body, but it can be polished very easily. Sapphire on SS is a lot more scratch resistant than on Aluminum. SS graphite has DLC and is extremely resistant to scratches compared to aluminum. Sapphire screen is more prone to cracking though.
Will upgrade my series 5 to 7 IF blood glucose sensor actually arrives.
How on earth could that happen?? My series 5 is still at 94% battery health and I really don’t care for my Apple Watch battery.
My launch day series 6 is still reading 100% but then I’ve been working from home for 18 months and I tend not to wear a watch around the house so i only wear it when I leave the house which is about 20 hours a week
Can't wait. the Series 4 look is tired to me. Likely moving back to Silver SS from SBSS or if they release a ceramic i'm in.
Ditto.. my Series 4 is looking tired and appreciate no scratches and looking like it just came out of then box. .. Looking forward to the SBSS Series 7 if indeed it has the new design.
Not a fan of the flat design to be honest, looks too fitness tracker like. I prefer my watches to look more like traditional watches, so prefer the curved design elements.
Yea been waiting a while! My series three screen exploded during a tennis match back in June, can't wait to have an apple watch again
Agreed! Love my SB Ti S6. I do love the regular Ti as well though.
I will be buying a S7, but we'll see what's going to be available, finish-wise.
Looking forward to edition model lineup, hoping Ceramic makes a comeback. Titanium also looks appealing as an upper-end model with a matte design language.
I’m still rocking my 3rd Gen 38mm Cellular, but the battery is slowly dying, and it barely makes it through my workouts, so I really can’t wait to preorder.
I’d love to have a 44mm SS, but i learned my lesson with Series 1 and 2 (I’ve got a special talent for cracking screens) and I think I’m better of with a more flexible and small footprint 40mm ION X display.

I want to upgrade my launch day 44mm Aluminum S4, but I’m not going to upgrade my 12 Pro Max from iOS 14.1, until more information is out regarding the CSAM, so I’ll be waiting a couple months to upgrade. I don’t want to order it and not use it right away. I have to charge my S4 twice a day now.

Correct! I believe the pre-orders started right away. It was so annoying. Many AW’s were also not in stock right away either. I hope Apple doesn’t do that this year.
I checked the posts from last year and preorders opened on Tuesday 15 September and the watches were available on Friday 18 September 2020.
I cannot wait!! Sold my Series 5 and have been using my backup Series 2 for about a month now. Fingers crossed for a new design
Undecided on S7. I've had my S6 for a few months now and may skip the 7.
- not a fan of the boxy design, I feel on the wrist any sharp edges or harsh edges is a no-go for all around comfort. I wear my Watch daily sleep, awake, in shower, working out especially.
* personally I'd like a larger screen close to 50mm (44 seems very small now, and the increased size allows for larger battery).
13 mini ... come to daddy.
14" MBP possibly maxed out will happy ... or XPS 13 / HP ZBook Firefly 14 ... unsure.

I’m still very happy with the series 6 so I’ll keep it a while. Rumors that the 7 would have blood glucose monitoring got me excited, but I don’t see how that can happen without a needle somewhere. I’ve been a type II diabetic for a long time so I know what’s required for glucose testing.
I'm surprised how many of you guys are jumping from generation to generation. I did't feel that much of an urge to upgrade in the last 3 years, until my battery life started to decrease.
Got a Series 6 recently (upgraded from a Series 1 which was dog slow) for $280 new from Best Buy so I’m good. Heard the glucose monitoring wouldn’t be ready so …..
Maybe this could be the year to upgrade from my series 0. Let's see!
Definitely getting a new one over my AW6 as now I swim at the beach everyday it would be nice to just take my watch and not worry about missing texts / calls etc as currently dont have the cellular model. It always feels like the future walking up from the beach to the cafe there and just using my watch to get a cocktail
Not sure. I just got my titanium 6 in December. It would have to have some very compelling new features, squared off redesign on its own will not cut it.
