I really hope the watch combinations will be available soon and the ability to add them into the app as a favourite. I really want to get my decision made so I can have quick access to it. I was hoping the info would have been available today
Yeah me too. Otherwise Friday morning is going to be nightmare trying to configure everything while preordering.

for what its worth, this is the pricing for some retailers in India. Seems to line up with current prices.

Still hoping tomorrow or by Thursday morning it gets updated. No idea what's there to hide, LOL!
That's been my thought. They seemed caught off guard by their own press release yesterday. I wonder if they didn't/don't have all of the digital assets needed to make the studio work ready yet. It would be hard to believe but I really can't think of a lot of other plausible explanations for why it's all still missing.

Yeah the apple rep told me the customization tool won’t be live until Friday but I hope they have no idea what they’re talking about.

Like we are supposed to throw together random combos on Friday morning while at the same time trying to get our pre-order in asap to get launch day delivery.

I’m 99% sure that the rep I spoke with was clueless.
They are 100% clueless. Aside from third-parties who get information in advance from Apple (e.g. Hermès), Apple's own reps are often kept in the dark until a product/service has been announced due to Apple's need-to-know policy. I was with the leaders of Apple's Pride@Apple employee group when Apple revealed their Pride watch band one year and even they didn't know about it (nor the design) until it was announced on stage.

That's the official story anyway. Apple has too many hungry lawyers these days to say otherwise. ;)

I just sold my S6 black Titanium 44mm for $500 (I included AppleCare+ which was still 2 years left) they paid shipping an insurance. It was mint. I would not dream of any other way. Apple on my S5 exact same wanted to give me $200. ?

I asked about best places to offer it on Reddit Apple Watch and it was sold to someone there same day. And done via Apple cash. Easiest transaction ever.

Good luck. I ran into same thing regarding the web sites not listing it. I used to buy black SS thru S4 then went to Titanium
Darn, I would have bought that! Let me check out Reddit now..

They already sell the series 7 bands, so no this isn’t an excuse.

I actually think they’re not going to update anything until Friday. I’m also willing to bet Apple Watch studio won’t be available for the 7 and it will be fixed configurations only due to the constraint on supply.

Hopefully they at least pre publish the fixed configs then! I’d really like to be able to do the “heart” thing in advance so I can quickly check out Friday.

It’s quite unfortunate that the new Watches aren‘t in the store (app) yet, but on the other hand we basically know all there is to know. Prices will very probably stay the same as before and the default Watch + Band combinations are known as well:

Aluminum
Midnight + Midnight
Starlight + Starlight
RED + RED
Green + Clover
Blue + Abyss

Steel
Silver + Starlight / Milanese
Gold + Dark Cherry / Milanese
Graphite + Abyss / Milanese

Titanium we don‘t know yet (because third party sellers don‘t get those), but I would assume Natural + Starlight and Space Black + Midnight or Abyss.

I hope not but if supplies really are that limited that would make sense. Though really if that is the case they should have just delayed the release a few more weeks.

I really hope they at least let us favorite a model before Friday to make preorders smoother.

I've always bought the aluminum (or al-loo-minium for by British friends) version but am more intrigued this year for the SS variety. Can someone give me their experience that have owned both (or the SS version only)? Worth it? Trade offs in your opinion?

I had Series 0 stainless steel up until Series 3 release. The added weight of the stainless steel one is definitely noticeable. The case itself got some marks / scuffs, but the screen remained flawless.

Heavier, but you forget about that in 5 minutes.
Black casing is extremely difficult to scratch
Silver is easier to scratch but can be polished.
Gold is in the middle but can't be polished.
The previous screens have been amazing. I have banged this thing so many times against a hard surface... cringe,,,look down and the screen is still perfect.

Biggest downside. The value of the Stainless according the Apple is the same as the $3-400 less model on trade in. Apple watches drop in value but the Stainless DROPS. You can get a few more bucks for one on Ebay or where ever but that has its own hassles.

Keeping 1 year? Hard to do the stainless
Keeping 2 or more? excellent choice

I'm actually curious about the same. Have only owned Aluminum for the last few years and only space gray... and my plan was to continue that path, but with the new "Midnight" color coming out instead, I'm just not 100% in love with it... it may be something I have to see in person, but I just can't get over that it looks more dark navy blue in my opinion. That being said, I was also looking to switch over to SS, so very curious to see other people's experiences that made the same switch.

you might be right, there must be a reason we don’t have watch studio ready yet. Maybe they’re not ready to do custom yet and as you said we will only have fixed configuration ready. Hopefully they’re only waiting for a green light and studio will be ready on time. I really wanna upgrade to graphite ss with lavender braided loop

My S4 is at 88%! I got it on launch day and have always had optimized battery charging turned on. Maybe that has helped? I was excited to upgrade this year, but this is making it harder for me to justify. LOL
Mine also has optimization enabled.

93% here…..
Exactly the same with my S4. Also optimized charging enabled. My daughter’s S4 - from the launch day - is at 98% battery health (!!!) but she did not use it as much as moi. And mine is a few months newer than hers. My S4 will be my backup watch when I get the S7. Staying with Aluminum for the variety of color choices. My Al S4 is in pristine condition and I am not very forgiving with it - I also bump my watch into God-knows-what all the time. Still no scratches, without screen protector. So, no reasons for me to go to SS or Ti although I looove Ti from eyeglasses frames to jewelry, etc.
