Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

Anyone know Tim apple, if you do, please tell him to make an option to order a Watch without a band.
That will never happen. I think bigger margins of the profit comes from the band. So they want to sell it with the watch. It’s like going to McDonald’s and ordering a Big Mac without the bun 😂 😂 😂

Do y’all think there’s going to be series 7 deals on pre order day from the phone carriers? I know Apple is doing a $100 rebate but haven’t seen anything on any of the carrier’s sites

The carriers are clueless too. No one knows until Friday hits. I guess. Props to Apple for not keeping everything tight lipped.

I know, but can a person dream?🙏🏻

Well, frame it as an environmental issue that the canned bands that we're forced to purchase are industrial waste that contributes to landfills. Like the little charger cubes, no one uses them; so it's a waste and is killing some endangered something somewhere.

Be careful for what you ask. They may just sell the watch without the band… at the same price:rolleyes:

Well yeah, but at least you can feel better about the diminished industrial waste, feel better about less chaotic launch day, and feel better about securing Apple's longevity with increased profit margins. If you own stock, it's like investing in yourself.

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
Thank you for making the call and getting a confirmation. I would also call Apple corporate and ask someone from the corporate office just to get a final confirmation. But it looks like this one confirms it. Well, that’s Apple Watch for you. You either take it or leave it 😂
You are welcome. I actually just called apple online on the phone and was told the same thing.

I guess we should be 100% certain that it will be up in a few hours instead of Friday. Since the reps are never right:cool:o_Oo_O
I don’t know what you’re talking about all I was doing was confirming that I spoke to an apple rep who said they were not updating the website for the configurations prior to the pre-sale. Because there’s been so much speculation about whether Apple was going to update the website to allow for people to do a pre-order configuration like with the iPhone. So I was just trying to be helpful and say that I confirmed two different ways that they are not going to be doing that. So I’m not really understanding your need to be so sarcastic in your post

Apple Watch is not like an iPhone launch. People are not here worrying about the activations, carrier switch, making sure esim or sim is working or not. All that takes time with an iPhone. With Apple Watch it’s much more convenient and hassle free. You just have to make sure you are 100% sure of what you want to get.

Yes but building the watch with the band you want can take time and then you find out that another band will make it ship faster. Saving your preconfigured watch would be best.

LOS ANGELES BABY!!
Thanks for your hard work.! I guess we are all blindfolded by Apple until Friday morning.
I just like to know and decide beforehand what configuration I want that’s all and it would’ve been nice of Apple afforded its customers that ability like they have in the past years with the Apple Watch. But they’re not doing that this year and it’s pretty clear they’re not so I was just trying to help people and pass that information along. I’m given the fact that tomorrow’s Thursday I don’t think we’re going to see the website updated with those configurations until the pre-order is live. I appreciate you recognizing that I was just trying to help

It's Thursday where I am and nothing yet. Having said that I think from the links others have shared you can see what the standard configs are already. It is a shame that apple don't show us.

I also appreciate your input and work. The sarcasm is directed at reps who often don’t know what they are taking about.

Hopefully in this case the rep was wrong and they show up tomorrow to be configured.

My last example of a bad rep was yesterday. I called to cancel my AppleCare of my iPhone 12 they I no longer have. The rep said I was under Iphone Upgrade Program and the refund would go to Citizens bank….even though the phone wasn’t purchased on IUP. They refused to transfer me to another rep and said I needed to call back in and get in que again.

2nd call and 15 minutes later my refund was processed as it should have been by another helpful rep.
