Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

But do you think it’s better than the s6 just for these new things? I was wondering because lately there’s a store in my region that sells the s6 44mm for 342€ and I am tempted to take it.
Personal decision but if you can afford it, I'd go for the S7. It is newer and better, nobody can debate that one.

Thais new s7 looks very gorgeous especially for the new dust ip and more resistant in general. It‘s necessary on a Watch since you bring it all day on the unprotected wrist.

There’s not a lot different between the two but a factor to consider if you’re choosing one over the other is that the 6 is already a year old. It will be worth less at trade in and will have one less year of software update support in case you’re considering keeping it for a while.

Well for these considerations I don’t mind since both s6 and s7 seems to have same processor or similar and maybe this will mean same support period (and looking at the s3, it might be somewhat a long period). Btw I don’t think I will change the new purchase soon in the years (I would like to buy now and keep it for as long as possible).
I’m coming from a galaxy Watch active and i was wondering if someone could advice if 342€ is worth for s6 or the s7 at full price is a better option (I don’t even know how much it will cost, ~440€?)

I've always gotten an aluminum model, but considering SS for tomorrow. For those of you that have had both, how much heavier is the SS model? Does it still seem to do okay while working out? or swimming, etc.

I have had both and prefer SS. It is heavier, but you quickly get used to it. I run with it daily and have no issues. I actually prefer the added weight, feels more "premium". Main reason I go for SS is for scratch resistant display, but the shiny cases are nice, too. Did silver SS for the S6 and surprisingly have no scratches on the case.

Something must be seriously wrong. We can’t even see which combos are available or the respective pricing with less than 24 hours to go.
We won’t.
I’ve heard speculation that it will be standard configs only (the ones listed on Amazon), no Apple Watch studio and no in store collection.
Furthermore I’ve heard that series 6 is even going to hang around in the short term.

Clickbait title and article which is no better than what many forum members here do when speculating about what will be released and when.
Don’t blame me, I didn’t write it. To be honest I’m just going to take everything with a pinch of salt until tomorrow , but the launch is extremely weird despite denials from certain enthusiasts.

Can you elaborate regarding the Amazon thing? Not seeing any S7 configs there.

My opinion... as others have also stated.

Stock will be very low and dates will push back quickly. The reason for not having the site up or no pre configurations is because even at 8:00 ...01 some items wont be in stock.

I’m surprised we don’t even have a pricing page for the new watch on the App Store - there’s nothing! Just a landing page about the details of the watch.

I just don’t get why the apple site is so short in information. With less then 24 hours to go and no pricing, it doesn’t install confidence at the moment that we will be able order tomorrow

I am wondering what orders will be like for titanium models. I’ve never gotten one, but I’m going that route this year. Are they usually hard to get at launch?

I don't think Ti is difficult per se....its usually the band that limits availability. IIRC last year when I ordered my Ti watch the shipping got pushed way out when paired with a braided loop band, but was launch day with milanese loop.

With rumors of supply/production issues, this year might be different. But then again the Ti models aren't as popular so there might not be any issue.

Also note, the Ti watch comes with 2 bands....a sport band and the one you pick.
