I don't think Ti is difficult per se....its usually the band that limits availability. IIRC last year when I ordered my Ti watch the shipping got pushed way out when paired with a braided loop band, but was launch day with milanese loop.

With rumors of supply/production issues, this year might be different. But then again the Ti models aren't as popular so there might not be any issue.

Also note, the Ti watch comes with 2 bands....a sport band and the one you pick.
Im starting to worry that Ti wont be available at launch. Most places seem only to list the Aluminum and SS options and configs.

Even here, only those options and configs are shown. I hope Im wrong! Really have gotten used to the subtle look of the Natural titanium watch.

Awesome, thanks!

Exactly my observation when checking the above links... the Graphite Stainless Steel Case with Abyss Blue Sport Band looks like a nice backup, but I wanted to go titanium this year.

Also remember that Edition models aren't sold at other retailers and even not sold in some Apple stores depending on market size. We like Edition models more than Apple does.

Isn't Ti only ever sold at a few Apple stores + the online store? I don't think 3rd party sellers carry them.

Thanks for that reminder. So hopefully still coming but maybe just not on Amazon. Titanium isn't even a new finish for this year, so you'd think any shortages or manufacturing process issues leading to shortages wouldn't be specific to Titanium.

Does Apple refund unused portion of Apple care on watch that is traded in for a new one?

I have an AW6️ and was going to trade it in for the 7, but not sure how that works.

Any insight would be great.

Really struggling if upgrading from the Nike S6 is truly worth it and what the trade in value will be for my watch.. I’m the type of person that wants the newest version and usually upgrades every year but this year just seems different. Ugh….anyone else running s series 6 upgrading ???

If you order form Apple youll be able to get Titanium. The editions are exclusive to Apple are not sold anywhere else, like the Solo loop bands.

They did on my iPhone trade-in, would imagine would be the same for the watch but not 100% sure

How do we not have trade in values yet? Any one have any guesses? I have a 40 and 44mm S6 with cellular to trade in.

I also have a series 6 and I'm thinking....still on the fence. The brighter display and keyboard would be the only reason I would consider it. I'm going to see how I feel in the morning.... :). This was also the first year in 5 years that I didn't upgrade to a new iPhone - keeping my 12 Pro Max for another year.

Cheers!

Apple is only taking 60 bucks for my 40mm SG Series 4 Alu on the trade in programme. Guess I’ll just keep it.

Thinking real hard about either the raw titanium or the green aluminium.

I don’t have a S6 but I do have a S4. Personally I feel this year’s upgrade is heavily reliant on the cosmetic changes on the S7. If looks and the new colours matter to you, consider the S7.

I am, mostly for faster charging (end my days around 10-15%, so have to charge overnight, hoping I'd be able to get a quick charge and do sleep tracking), bigger screen (I really like the modular duo face), brighter AOD will be nice as well plus it's more crack resistant and dust resistant. It's not a huge upgrade, but I ended up deciding I will upgrade.

Ughhh really wondering if it’s worth it shelling out extra $ for the silver stainless steel when I already have a gold stainless steel s6 and won’t be able to connect another cellular watch to my iPhone.

decisions decisions….might just cop either a green or red aluminum and call it a day….or maybe the Nike model….

Buying my first watch tomorrow. How important do you all think it will be to get Apple Care at the same time? Gonna need Apple Watch For Dummies ??

I am planning to buy the S7 in SS Graphite. I really want the Abyss blue band. Hopefully I can order it that way, but I am thinking I should order the Abyss Blue for pick-up today. Is that the better way to go or should I try and pre order that combination tomorrow?

So the band and the watch ship in completely different packages? Will Apple let you exchange a band you don't really want? Like, if I buy the default midnight watch configuration with the default black sport band, can I later take that (unopened) sport band into an Apple store and swap it out for another band of my choosing?

I'm wondering if I should just go default everything and figure it out later.
