Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

What is the default band for the Midnight aluminum S7?

The SS is significantly heavier and, for me, is a no-go for certain types of workouts.

I swapped back to aluminum with series 6 b/c I like the braided solo loops and the weight of the SS would cause the watch to move on the wrist and throw off heart rate readings. Just my .02.
I"m like you, I like the braided loops and have 3 or 4 of them. I have wondered about the weight of the SS with the braided loops. I do have some sport loops, though and I think those should hold up okay with the SS

I leave it until one or two days remaining so I get an extra 58 days of AC+ :)

But remember you won't be covered for accidental damage during that time.

Also, I don't believe it works the way you're thinking (though I could be wrong). I believe AC+ extends your warranty to two years from the date you purchased the AW (not the date you purchased AC+). So by delaying purchasing AC+, you're just assuming an extra risk in those first 58-60 days. Again, that is my understanding - if you have a link to where Apple says otherwise, let me know.

Stainless vs. Titanium? I'm seeing somewhat conflicting descriptions on these two choices. Is Titanium more durable than stainless regarding scratches on the case? I'm thinking of going Titanium (not black) this time around vs. Stainless (which is what my current black Series 4 is). I do tend to keep my Apple watches longer than my Apple iPhones ;)

The lighter weight of the Titanium model would also seem to be a plus.

I've got some gift cards I'm about to apply. Does anyone know if the gift cards get automatically rolled in with the CC at payment time? I'd like to use $200 in gift cards, but I don't want *anything* holding up this weird preorder year.

Probably going to go straight 45mm aluminum non cellular starlight sport band just for simplicity. I have plenty of bands already since I've had S0 and S4. Tempted to trade in my S4 as well but ugh... still don't want anything slowing down the transaction at 5am tomorrow.

Yes, gift cards are subtracted from the final price and your CC is charged the remaining balance.

They will both get scratched. But they can be polished (silver Steel) or re-brushed (natural Titanium) quite easily.

Same here and done it before. You just add each card number at the checkout and then pay the balance by CC. I have £850 worth over 4 gift cards so I hope my copy and paste works :)

I'm planning to add mine tonight, and double check that my CC that's already on file is the correct one / expiration date, etc. That way it's already good to go and I don't have to add each gift card at checkout. Fingers crossed and good luck! :)

(I don't have SS) but with the Ti I use a yellow sponge with green scrubby back and use that back to buff out any scratches....looks like new!
