Thanks for the reply. Not complaining as I know there are worldwide shipping issues at the moment. How long between dispatched and delivery was it for you? Thanks
Dispatched came up on the Thursday afternoon, delivery on the Friday - but bear in mind I am pretty sure all launch day AW were in the UK already

I received my green 45mm on Thursday. A definite upgrade from the Series 3 I’ve had for a few years.

I received an email from Apple that my refund is being processed. Something must be really messed up with that shipment.
Thanks for mentioning. I’m going to call them because my refund is still pending and shows a dead link for printing a return label. Can’t return what I never received.

I checked my local Apple store and the had the exact watch I ordered in stock. I went there to purchase it and they tried to charged me $130 more than I paid for the one that is currently getting refunded. I showed them the order and the price was adjusted. I have my watch now and I am happy. It was one hell of a journey getting it. When I was at the store, I showed the manager all the shipping drama and the email for a refund. He shook his head and told me that I shouldn't have to go through all of that. He also told me that if I happen to receive the watch that is currently in customs hell, just drop it off at the store and he will take care of everything.

I’m glad you were able to get one. Weird that they were going to charge you more. My store was sympathetic as well. I spoke with another online rep today and she clearly wasn’t understanding the issue. Looks like the first rep I spoke with earlier in the week didn’t flag it as a carrier issue. This rep was saying things to me like “well, once they get it and are sure it’s not damaged…” I had to point out that it was never in my hands so even if it is damage, it’s not my fault. She said I should call again on Monday to see if there are any updates.

Same band and everything? I mean, the prices are the prices, the only reason they would change is 41mm vs 44mm, cellular or no cellular version, or a different band, or of course something like SS vs aluminum, but that's much more than $130.

What did you pay for the original, and what size/color/band was it?

So glad you got your watch..Congrats! I know it didn’t happen the way you expected it to, but there was still a happy ending Post pics when you get a chance.

The text above does this mean that my watch is being made ready for shipping? Since I can't change anything anymore. Anyone experience?

It was exactly the same, 41mm starlight GPS with the dark blue braided band like in the link below

Wellll I canceled my order for a gold SS since my local store had some silver SS with the braided loop bands in stock. With COVID and everything influencing shipping times it will better than waiting a month or more. I got the yellow band which will be different for sure. I decided silver might be better overall anyway since the scratches can be buffed out. The store opens in a couple of hours can’t wait.

Is it normal that my order that was placed last week shows 3-13 December, while new orders on the product page show 1-8 December? Am I better off placing another order or will Apple go with mine first and update the delivery date accordingly?
The dates doesn’t have much of a difference. You may want to call Apple and see if they can apply Express Shipping to your order. Otherwise, you can always check the local Apple stores.

The watch finally arrived. Coming from the series four to the seven was a very welcome upgrade. Reading text and emails is now MUCH easier and that alone is worth the upgrade. It's funny that such a little bump in display is so impactful on a small device. I can now easily see all those tine complications and so now I can enjoy some of the watch faces that I had previously avoided because reading the itty bitty script was a pain.
Very nice! Love the dial combination. Congratulations!!! Hope you enjoy your Apple Watch :)

Today is delivery day for mine, but last scan was in a city that is 3 hours from me, and that was on Saturday. Maybe it will magically appear later today. Sometimes, scans get missed in the system.
Update: it’s out for delivery 🤣🤣
Ahhh, we want to see pictures of your Apple Watch! Let’s go!!!
