Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

That has been the time Apple shows on all Watch promo images. Quick googling suggests multiple theories why they chose that time but it’s probably just aesthetics.
Ah I sorta know about the 10:10 setting....watch hands shaped like a smile. But didn't consider that it's actually 10:09

I ordered a Series 7 on Oct 24th. Still processing. Anyone order around that time have any update on their order? Mine isn't scheduled until Dec. 7th and I'm getting antsy!

I ordered a SS 45mm Graphite on 10/26. Delivery shows Nov 17 - 24. On Tuesday this week my order status changed from processing to Preparing to ship.

Just received my shipping confirmation! I ordered a SS 45mm Graphite on 10/26. Delivery shows next Monday 11/22. So happy! :)

Mine got shipped day before yesterday via Bluedart, but when I try to track the shipment all I get is "Record not found". I am supposed to get the watch coming Wednesday (24th November 2021). I am getting a bit impatient.

For those that have owned SS and/or Titanium watches in the past, how is the resale value typically when it came time to sell the watch? I’m debating between an AL S7 (with a screen protector) or a SS/SBTi S7, and am wondering how resale values are impacted for each model.
It’s like fancy options on a car but worse - it depreciates to the same as the aluminum.
In my mind there is no resale market for watches - would a buyer prefer a new aluminum S9 or used stainless S7?

10:10 shows watch face best. 10:09 allows leading up to the 10:10 time, or is just “think different” enough.
Similar to 9:40 (9:41) for other product launches, since they’re shown 40 minutes into the event.
In other Apple launches, Steve Jobs / Scott Forstall wanted the time to be one minute ahead, to cover for delays.

Same for me but with UPS. However, I use an iPhone app called Parcel and the app shows an origin scan in Louisville KY at around 11 pm last night. Still showing delivery for Monday. Fingers crossed.

I get same answer on the Parcel app "Record not found". Guess I should wait til coming Wednesday.

Which version did you order?

Here's the Watch itself next to my soon to be sold S6. A bit disappointed in it but the size of the screen, all around rounder shape, and actually functional QWERTY are excellent updates. Didn't expect the keyboard to work on the 41mm screen which is should be smaller than 44mm screen, but it does and even has our weird non English alphabet characters even though reply language is set to English. 🤷‍♂️

On Apple.com mine shows “out for delivery", but ups.com shows “preparing for delivery". 🤷🏻‍♂️
I really don't understand these different systems. I use the app Deliveries too and it seems to be more correct sometimes than the standard tracking methods the companies use.
