To anyone interested in buying AppleCare+ at a later date. In the EU your 2 year long coverage begins when you buy AppleCare+. And it will cost you €89 euro’s but you have to buy it in the first 60 days of owning the watch

I am going for a cellular Apple Watch for the first time this year. Is anyone else making the cellular move?

Yes I’m going for cellular this year! I often do dangerous things like spontaneous climbing a cliff while searching for ancient artifacts. I want the fall detection to call for rescue without the extra weight of my phone with me. So the watch as a stand-alone mini phone will be a huge win for me!

Nah - last two times I bought Cellular I never used it. I simply take my phone everywhere. I thought it may be useful when on vacation - eg sitting by a pool without the phone, however it doesn't work when taken abroad, so for me useless.

@Boardiesboi you reckon apple will match mobile monster prices? Doubt it. 🤔

I normally buy the stainless steel but I’ve decided to get the Nike Midnight this year. Have you thought about paying more for the stainless steel? As it comes with cellular.

I don’t use cellular because of the extra cost for the cellular plan and 99% of the time I carry my iPhone with me.

Going for the aluminium this year, I like the lighter weight for marathon training.
