I am going for a cellular Apple Watch for the first time this year. Is anyone else making the cellular move?
TBH I only have cellular as you HAVE to have it with SS. If they did a SS without cellular, I'd be all over it. However, as a geek I naturally wasted x amounts of pounds on a cellular plan for it anyway lol.
Yes I’m going for cellular this year! I often do dangerous things like spontaneous climbing a cliff while searching for ancient artifacts. I want the fall detection to call for rescue without the extra weight of my phone with me. So the watch as a stand-alone mini phone will be a huge win for me!
Nah - last two times I bought Cellular I never used it. I simply take my phone everywhere. I thought it may be useful when on vacation - eg sitting by a pool without the phone, however it doesn't work when taken abroad, so for me useless.
I normally buy the stainless steel but I’ve decided to get the Nike Midnight this year. Have you thought about paying more for the stainless steel? As it comes with cellular.
I don’t use cellular because of the extra cost for the cellular plan and 99% of the time I carry my iPhone with me.
Going for the aluminium this year, I like the lighter weight for marathon training.
Never traded in an Apple Watch but that’s around 40-50% full price? I think it’ll be close.
Think I should do the smart thing and go to bed at 10:30pm, or I’m going to end up with a new Apple Watch. 🤦♂️
Then I’ll be turned off buying one tomorrow morning when there is a 8 week wait. 🤔😂

Nope, for some reason apple didn’t put up the AR models and color choices for the SS models. 🤦♂️

It's a little odd how much it's been downplayed on Apple's part, but I don't think it's that fishy. Supplies are probably very limited for launch day.
