Just something to keep in mind: the charger that ships with the Sport is slightly thicker than the SS charger. Hopefully these stands can accommodate both sizes.

The nomad looks good, but I don't like that the light is towards the devices. I would like to put this on my nightstand, but I couldn't use the light to read a book. (Yes, I do read sometimes books, not only iPad) It's not moveable and I don't need a light on my sideboard. Unfortunately I also haven't seen any pics of how they do it with al the cables. Therefor I've ordered the Premium One W3. It has just 2 visible cables for 3 devices and 1 wall charger. It just looks great and fits to my furniture. Price? If I can afford all these Apple devices, than I also should be able to get a great looking dock and not one of these cheep looking things. That doesn't make sense.

Mophie announced a nice looking stand today with a release date of 24th April 2015. Here is the link, https://www.macrumors.com/2015/04/14/mophie-debuts-watch-dock-for-apple-watch/

The mophie stand ships early May.

sooooooooo how about spraying the all aluminum stands with a clear coat of some sort that will protect the watch from scratches?

is there such a thing? i know there's plasti dip and clear coat sprays... wonder if there are any clear coats that will work? hmmmmmmm

The watch will be touching the sensor - there's a good chance it wont come in contact with the aluminum. I might buy an iPhone 6+ Zagg skin and cut it to wrap the stand where the watch touches if need be, though.

Apple Watch Stands... pics and links inside

any stands out there for charging two watches at a time?

Not two at once but if I'm not mistaken, with NuDock, if you buy one watch dock you get one free

I want something that is made to accommodate the watch + the phone +the iPad. So far I have only seen one and wasn't thrilled with it.

Hoping someone comes up with a good design soon.

HH Stainless Steel Watch Display Stand

I'm not a big commercial outfit or an internet startup. I am a long-time watch guy who has sold a specific product as a side business since 1996. I hope that it's OK to post here... so here goes:

Here is the much-sought-after Haerie Halifax stainless-steel watch display stand. There is no peer. I've been selling this very nice stand in the horology community for many years. It is made from top-grade stainless steel and I have sold hundreds and every single buyer without exception has been pleased.

Buyers have told me that the best thing about these stands is that unlike with other stands, the HH stand allows the watch to remain the precise focus of attention.

The stand is 3.5" high, 1.75" wide, and 2.5" deep. It fits a wide range of watches, from delicate ladies sizes to divers. My own Apple Watch will not be here until mid-May so I did an Apple Watch mockup and the watch and charging puck fit perfectly.

I guarantee buyer satisfaction with every stand, and have always had a standing return policy that includes return shipping as long as the stand has not been used as a wheel chock on an airliner, or other such abuses.

$35 shipped CONUS. See my ebay account haerie1 ...or PM me here ... paypal accepted ... fast ship via USPS 1st Class w/tracking. Thank you!

Latest info I got on Nomad stand.

I received this email 4/28. I didn't realize the charging cables were different sizes.

Exciting things happening here at Nomad! We've been stoked to see Apple Watch launch and can't wait for you all to get your Stands! I'm writing to you from the factory floor here in Shenzhen, China to update you on the production status of Stand for Apple Watch you pre-ordered.
Everything is looking great and production of Stand is moving along well! We have ramped up final production: CNCing the cable channel, sand blasting and anodizing the aluminum, prepping final assembly while keeping a close eye on quality.
Due to a delay in finalizing the exact dimensions of Apple Watch charging cable and the unexpectedly different sized charging cable shipping with Apple Watch Sport, we had to make some last minute adjustments so that Stand will work perfectly with every variation of Apple Watch and cables available.
Based on where we stand currently with production, we aim to begin shipping May 21st. We sincerely apologize for this delay, but we hope that you'll be incredibly pleased once you receive your Stand!
Stands will be shipped immediately as we finish production and you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as they ship. Additionally, if you ordered both Stand and Pod, your Stand will ship separately and first, as soon as it finishes production.
Thanks so much in advance for your patience; we're eager to get you your Stand as soon as it's ready.

Got an email saying that Nomad won't ship till May 23rd.

Yes received this as well. They didn't know the charger that comes with the Apple Watch Sport has different dimensions than other chargers.
I was a little ticked off so I contacted the email back which changed to a customer support person named Chloe instead of reply to Brian who issued that email.

As you can see in my attachment they offered a 20% refund for my troubles with waiting for their product to be finished up again in their factories. I advise others to do this as well.

I emailed and ask for my 20% also, we will see.

Just to clarify a bit more on this. The metal and plastic chargers have identical diameters from what I understand. For anyone who ordered my custom oak stands this will not be an issue.

The difference in dimensions is in the depth. My stand allows you to fine tune the depth of the charging puck so again it isn't an issue.

Here is a thread referencing these dimensions and discussions:

The MiTagg NuDock Power Station Lamp is hands down the best looking of the docks, especially since you can get it in space gray. Would look really nice on my desk.

This is by far the best.

I have been watching this since it was first shown and honestly. $130 or whatever it is right now (plus a 'free' stand) is a great deal for a gorgeous lamp, stand, and external battery.

Question about chargers?

Why is there only the 1 meter and 2 m cables on Apple Store. It doesn't say one is for sport and one for watch, No mention of thickness

They don't sell the plastic end one that comes with the sport. The ones you can buy are the same as included with SS and up.

I sent them an email saying that with this delay I would like to cancel my order and they sent me the exact same response word for word.
