I ordered this Poetic stand yesterday. It's $19.95 + $4.95 shipping. It's not in stock though until June 30th so I'll have to wait to see how good it is. I have tried out other Poetic products before and I have not been disappointed. All have been good quality. They have the stand in gold, silver, and space grey. I ordered the space grey. Another plus is that it looks like it can be used with the watch mounted sideways for when watchOS 2 adds the alarm clock function.

Now it says:
"In stock on July 15, 2015. Order it now.
Sold by PoeticDirect"

When I ordered mine, it was supposed to ship June 15th.
It's still has not shipped (and it's now June 17th).
I just got an email from Amazon that states.
"The following order(s) placed on 5/17/2015 with PoeticDirect, will be canceled if the order is not ship-confirmed by 6/24/2015. "

I wonder what kind of problems Poetic is having with shipping their watch stands.

No email from Amazon for me yet. I checked the Poetic Website though and it says available July 15, 2015 as well. Might have to start looking for another stand.

I made my own bedside charging box from a watch box purchased on Amazon for $8. Came with a cushioned pillow.

Non metal, non tippy, secure and low profile. Less likely to be knocked over or scratch the watch. My watch sleeps on a pillow just like me. I can put the top cover on for travel or for security. But I just use the bottom part. I made a notch, for the cable but it wasn't necessary.

Lots of watch boxes, travel cases out there that have been used for years before the Apple watch. One can also just buy 'pillows' for a couple of bucks in various colors.

Picked this up at BestBuy yesterday, Griffin WatchStand $29.99 - Not bad, I like how you can hide the extra cord inside the stand which is made of a durable silicone - The bottom has some nice weight to it so this will not simply tip over. (

Some of the stands are really fugly. It's like they wanted to get stands out ASAP, so they didn't bother to do much with them.

The magnet on the puck is not strong enough to hold the watch perpendicular. There has to be an angle. And the ones where you just lay your watch out flat...what's the point?

There really are some utter abominations out there, they completely outweigh the one or two really nice ones. Although some people must like them I suppose.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for some better options.

Seeing how that's the title of this thread, his post seems kind of appropriate to me
Yeah. I didn't mean that in a rude way btw. I was acknowledging there had already been a thread started for this and he could've saved the hassle of creating a new one. No harm no foul.

I will never understand why a dock is designed without accommodating all bands. I would buy this instantly if it was compatible with a link bracelet.

Just got the following reply from Poetic
"We sincerely apologize for the unexpected delay in processing your
order. We were expecting to receive this item from our manufacturer on
Jun 15, 2015 however due to complicated procedure for production for
this item ETA ( expected time arrival ) date for this item has been
extended till July 15, 2015. .Please let us know if you are willing to
wait till July 15, 2015. so that we can fulfil your order or would you
like us to cancel your order?Once informed we will be happy to assist."

I contacted Amazon, as well as Poetic, to tell them that I don't want my order cancelled.
And that I was willing to wait for the delayed delivery.
I have other Poetic accessories and am been pleased with their products.

Is that apple mousepad actually from apple or something that was made by a third party?! It looks really nice!
