My W3 should be here tomorrow.
My dock looks a lot better with the apple watch on it
That W3 looks fantastic, and I hope their shopping estimate for the next batch (late August) is correct!
Yes indeed, I'm doing my happy dance today. The USPS made the exact opposite mistake today that UPS made last week. Even though my Premium One W3 stand required a signature, and my Deliveries app indicated that only a notification was left, the postman left the stand.
Plain box. Heavy! The whole thing was actually much smaller than I had somehow envisioned. Maybe because the concept is so BIG. Upon opening the box, you see the usb hub and plug, the top of the stand, and the tool to use to raise the lightning plugs if you're using cases on your iPhone or iPad.

I carefully removed everything from the box and laid it all out. There is a double cord on the W3 so that there is only one cable with two usb plugs. You have to use your own Watch puck.

I started by putting my iPad Air 2 on the stand. It's heavy enough that it holds well even with only the iPad on. I quickly started adding everything else.
The angle of the watch mount allows the watch to hand without depending completely on the magnet. Of course, you can put your watch on sideways (in preparation for Watchos 2 with nightstand mode), and it holds fine. This may be a bigger challenge with a heavier band. But the magnet in the puck is fairly strong, so YMMV.

It's really a beautiful piece, and I'm still glad I backed it on Kickstarter and didn't go for any of the other offerings available. It's a bit pricey, but it's a work of art, and keeps everything in a small space.
I really love the concept and I cannot wait to order mine soon. Does everything charge pretty fast?
I received two W3 mahogany units. I love that the mahogany is a solid piece and not veneer. Overall I love them but there were issues. On both units ALL screws were loose. One unit had one screw that had come out. I found it in the box. The other unit had several screws that had come out and a small metal plate had come off. I suggest everyone remove the bottom plate and check all screws. My bottom plate screws were loose too. This is my first time posting photos so I hope it works. The images show the insides before repair. Note missing screws and missing plate to hold in rotating charging bar. Finally there is a picture of the unit with phone, iPad and watch.
So do the lightening cables plug into the box with USB's and that is the power supply box?
Correct. The W3 nicely has the iPad and iPhone cables acting as a single cable except that there are two USB plugs at the end. You supply the watch charging cable. Thus, two cables exit the stand but there are 3 USB connectors to plug in. The unit comes with a nice 4 port USB power supply with a wall plug that is appropriate to the country the unit will be used in. The height of the lightning connectors is adjustable to take into account different cases the devices might be in. They also rotate to accommodate different case back thicknesses. Rotate the lightning adapter forward, plug the iPhone in, and let it lay back on the vertical brace behind the lightning adapter.
They both do the same job in the end.
The Spigen doesn't try to hide the cable, it jets out of the side, whereas the Orzly has cable management that sends it out the rear, so looking head on you don't see the cable.
On the flip side, the Spigen has micro suction, and is lighter, and has a smaller overall footprint, so it may be better for travel.
Also the Orzly is the only one of the 3 that actually holds a stainless steel band properly, because it has the long back. The Spigen will work, but the band touches the table behind it.
They both have positives and negatives imo.
In the end I'll be using both, I'll have to decide which is better for travel, and which will stay on my bedside table.
The FUZ stand already won my computer desk spot.
The Trio:
And Jmona, yes it does bend slightly, but I don't think that has been the issue with frayed cords, I think it's constant bending/yanking that causes that.
Looks a little top heavy - how stable is it?I don't believe anyone posted this here yet - the TimeStand:
I just bought this one:

It works quite well, looks really sharp, is inexpensive, and holds any iDevice (even my iPad Air 2). The engineer in me told me to KISS (keep it simple stupid).
