Hi telefono

Have you had the sena case delivered?

Happy?...

cheers

Yes, was delivered 3 days ago and the quality is what I expected. For me its the perfect charging stand for use at home, looks elegant and neat with the cable length adjusted to what you need. It would be perfect for traveling as it keeps the charging cable wound inside the case and when you get to your destination you have an elegant stand and charging cable in one perfect package. Mine will be used mostly at home and very little for traveling but its great for both.

I really can't think of anything I would change on it, SENA did a great job. Some people might say its expensive at $80 but its worth every cent.

My search for the perfect stand is over :)

Thanks for the info.

Having read what you've said, watched the video & imagined the thought that has gone into the design. The price is very fair I think.

Really pleased you are happy, I know if I got one, I would be too.

Cheers

If you don't mind, would it be possible to post some pictures of your Sena case please? :) Interested in seeing the quality of the case :)

Thank you! Pictures look great :D and the case looks really nice. :) Is it possible to charge the watch while its inside and covered in the case? I love the look of this case so I'll probably be getting this for travelling. Previously used the Apple box it came with but I'd much prefer a case that can store the cable inside nicely too. Thanks again :)

Yes it is possible to charge the watch while inside and covered with the lid. It's your choice how long the cable sticks out from the case, also very easy to wind back into the case when traveling. Hope this helps, let me know if you need more info to help you decide

Oh that's perfect then :) really handy to know the cable can be stored easy as the cable is so long and I'd much prefer to store together :) thanks again, think I'm decided on purchasing, hopefully shipping isn't too much :D

After reading several reviews, picked up the twelve south Forte Apple Watch stand at the Apple Store, while there I also got the Product (Red) sport band and the matching red iPhone 6 case. View attachment 598445

How are you liking the Forté? I have one on order. One of the only stands that allows vertical and horizontal orientation of the watch.

Good quality and weight?

Received the Forté. Tried it for one day. Hated it. Returning it.

The charging puck didn't sit right in it. The cable routing is chincy. I will say the weight was good - stable. But felt too janky overall.

Gonna try something else...

I got the Elevation Nightstand in black from my local Apple Store. I don't like the stands that use just the lightening connector to hold the phone upright so I'm avoiding these combo stands. I like that they do double duty and minimize clutter, but for now I'm not with it.

Still love my Native Union after almost 2 months.

Heavy but small platform, so it does not move at all on night table. Silicon covered based with aluminum rotating top.
Modern looking and create craftmanship.

Personally, I prefer this stand for AW, and Apple 6 matching color dock for iPhone. Neither take large table space, and could be separated anytime, most important, they all looks modern and great workmanship.

From my previous post with pics:

Added: Just saw Native Union website with new iPhone stand match my UN AW stand. I think I will get one of these iPhone stand also, it is going to be great match with them side by side.

I notice that the good thing about the Apple watch dock is that it's integrated. The other ones available, make you attach your cable to it, and it makes it a bit clunky. I think the only other integrated one is the belkin one, and that's very pricey. Are there any other integrated stands? I would have paid for this pricey apple one if it was in a different colour (darker).

Good point you made. I notice in the UK it is available at £65.00 if you minus the £29.00 for a 2 metre cable the cost of the stand is £36.00 (I presume all other stands need an extra £29.00 spending to get them working, unless you use the original cable of course).

cheers

Yes, that's on my short list for my night stand. Its pricey but then you have to consider that it includes the magnetic charger, where as everything else in this thread is just a stand w/o the apple charger. When you take that into consideration its not that pricey - at least in my mind.

Really nice but I think this is in a league of its own (especially if you spend time away from home, staying in hotels etc):

Interesting, yet it seems too involved and too many parts to put together and disassemble.

I think the video is relevant from 1.45 mins onwards because prior to that isn't it just the once only 'setup' aspect.

Someone who has one is a better judge than me, but it seems _ideal_ for somone staying away from home, on holiday or business.

Cheers
