After looking through this thread 2 or 3 times a week for 6 months I finally just ordered the Enblue W3. It maw be more than I wanted to spend, but it looks like just what I wanted, just without the watch in nightstand mode. But really I don't need that and don't currently ever use it even though my current stand allows for it.
What colour did you go for?

I went with black - tempted by the mahogany, but my current phone charger is a Twelve South in Black, so I stuck with black as its for the bedroom.

I couldn't really decide between black and silver, so I just kind of went with silver. Hopefully they ship quick, I'm looking forward to getting it now.

Ah, now you have made me consider the mahogany - wondering if I might regret not getting it - its a contrast with all the tech though, somehow plain silver or black seems more on keeping with all that technology - but the contrast is appealing, wood against the sleekness of the tech......

I'll have to sleep on it !

What's funny is you have me thinking maybe I should have gotten the black:).

I was able to purchase this for 75.00. I thought it was worth it considering watch cable is 39.00 plus 20.00 for a lightning cable so for 16.00 more I have a stand with one cable and it frees up my watch cable for traveling.
I'm not worried about nightstand mode I have a cable box that tells me the time without even turning my head.
Here are a couple of photos - I like it a lot. View attachment 591243 View attachment 591244

My husband got this a while back and he loves it, I do too. I really want one but the money is holding me back.

We had our iPhones, iPads and watches on our nightstands and almost every night, the cat would gnaw on the cords. Since my spouse likes to do woodworking as a hobby, I am using this for the first time tonight. A base was built underneath for a block for all three charging cables, which leads only to one normal power plug.

Those are very pretty. Nicely done!

My perfect stand is a watch stand that displays the watch in Nightstand mode, with a slot just above/behind for the iPhone. Seems all the combo stands I find have the watch in the vertical (no "Nightstand mode") position, or if they allow for horizontal display, the watch is dangling from a precarious position on a pedestal of some sort.

Basically I want a nightstand-mode stand similar to the Orzly, so that the watch is fully supported (I tried the Pleson that allowed the watch to be set horizontally, but it could easily allow the Watch to slip off the pedestal.but with something behind it for the phone too.

Am I just overlooking it?

Oh, and under $20! LOL.

It doesn't hit all your requirements, but I've been using the TwelveSouth HiRise as a makeshift solution that keeps the watch and iPhone vertical from each other. I've been perplexed as to why there are so few solutions that stack the phone and watch. I personally think its a better and more compact solution than side by side.

It's hard to come up with an elegant solution to cover different types of orientation, straps and phone sizes without looking sucky. I have a Moshi one but I've noticed also the possibility of the Watch falling and hitting the iPhone's screen...

I stuck with the black stand and it arrived yesterday.

Will post pics when I get the charger fitted......

So what do you think of it so far? I gave trouble easily getting the ipad on and off. I like to just reach over in bed and dock it, like I can with my iPhone. The ipad is a pain though. Have to basically hold the stand steady and carefully line it up. And it takes 2 hands to get it off also since its on so tight. Also, the watch straps push on the ipad too much unless I buckle the straps together, not a huge deal, but a pain. I think I'm going to return and go with something for just iPhone and watch.

Decided to get a Bluelounge Kosta for travelling because it was cheap(ish) and low profile for packing. It works ok, the cable cut-out where it comes through the back needs the coaster's weight to help it in place. It's ok, but I wish it was designed more for travelling so I could wind the cable up better.

I guess I don't get it apart from the rubberized base for protection on a wood surface for example. Why not just use the watch with the charger and skip the base that you need to thread through?

I got the NuDock from MiTagg a few weeks back and really love it. They're launching a "mini" version, and I think I might pick it up as well. What I have now was the most beautiful and functional 2-in-1 I could find, but the compact size of the new one might make it more up my alley. (full disclosure: that link is a referral, but I'd really appreciate the help if you signed up :))

As reported by others, these folks have been taking orders for months and have not delivered the original dock (slated now for January 2016). This is significant. Now a mini with an April 2016 delivery. Anyone ordering think they will see before fall 2016?

A couple of reasons. I went travelling with just the Charging Cable, and found it was a hassle with another loose cable, and not only do I don't always want to rest my Watch (make that two with the wife's) directly on the furniture, I didn't always want to rest the metal Charging Cable directly on the furniture either.

A simple rubberised base gives the Watch and Charging Cable something washable and protective to sit on. I also bought the green version so at a quick glance it was easy to spot so we wouldn't forget to take them when we left.

The Kosta isn't ideal - if it offered cable management for better portability it would be even better. Also the cable guide underneath doesn't keep the cable in place on its own. Anyway, it's the first time I've travelled with it. Works quite well.

You don't actually need a stand. The band on the watch will hold the band up, naturally.

Apple took advantage of this and created Night Stand Mode.
It's quick, simple, always works, and you don't need extra parts or docks or anything.

Use Night Stand Mode without a dock :)

If you absolutely must defeat the purpose and simplicity of Apple's intention, please check this thread, I'm sure it will be to your liking! https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/apple-watch-stands-pics-and-links-inside.1856503/
It's pretty interesting that it does this. I originally bought the DuoStand version from the same place (before these NightStand versions came out). Initially I was put off by the other models that showed the watch sideways, because I didn't know about the NightStand feature that adjusts the orientation. But thanks for pointing this out. My nephew was saying he wanted one for Xmas, but I had initially advised him against the sideways versions, so I got him a gift voucher instead to go towards the more expensive one. I'd better let him know about this NightStand version though, as it means I was wrong about the orientation, and it actually looks quite nice. He can probably afford it now with his gift voucher without having to put any extra money to it now that the price seems to have gone down on Amazon over xmas (so thanks to all those who pointed that out).

(...I just hope I'm not too late and he hasn't blown the money on something else, or he'll probably kill me!) lol.

Saw the Belkin Valet in the Apple Store today, so much nicer than the other stands I've seen and tried. Picked one up. It's better built, a better design, easier to use(phone goes right on), one power cable for phone and watch that plugs directly to an outlet(no need for USB). Wish I just ordered it when I first saw it.
