I think the video is relevant from 1.45 mins onwards because prior to that isn't it just the once only 'setup' aspect.

Someone who has one is a better judge than me, but it seems _ideal_ for somone staying away from home, on holiday or business.

Cheers

Seems too involved to me, and plus at the end, who would store their watch in the box like that? They'd be wearing it, or putting it in a more secure place, i.e., it would fall off the charging magnet if jostled.

As for its use in a hotel, I think most of the other docks can fit that bill without the increased setup time required by this.

Just my $.02 :)

absolutely agree most people would put their watch back on their wrist at the end of the video, surprised he even did that actually.

I still think the setup time is minimal (similar to other stands) based on ignoring the video prior to 1.45 mins and _not_ putting watch back in case.

Would need a 'time in motion' study v other devises! again someone who owns one & travels may like to comment?

a travel case for something on your wrist anyway?

the target market for this i suely only people going to posh events who want to wear a mechanical watch but want their apple watch the rest of the time.

now, if apple allowed multiple watches to be paired and used easily and interchangeably without time to switch over, things like this would start to make sense...

An ultra-simple DIY for me since I already had the TwelveSouth HiRise for iPhone...

...just a dab of hot glue & a felt pad for preventing scratches as it rests. 5 minutes and $0.00.

I even put a couple tiny dabs of glue to anchor the assembly to my nightstand -- makes it really solid and nice to use while groggy at 5 am. Just don't tell my wife.

This might be what I need to do. I want a stand that holds an iPad mini, iPhone, and Apple Watch. But I want the watch in Nightstand Mode. I haven't seen any. The HiRise won't old the ipad, but that's not critical, thanks for the idea.

I got the NuDock from MiTagg a few weeks back and really love it. They're launching a "mini" version, and I think I might pick it up as well. What I have now was the most beautiful and functional 2-in-1 I could find, but the compact size of the new one might make it more up my alley. (full disclosure: that link is a referral, but I'd really appreciate the help if you signed up :))

I'm a big fan of my Poetic Loft. Simple, functional, small foot print and affordable.

I have this stand...unfortunately with mine the watch charger does not "stick" out far enough for my watch to consistently stay attached. Many times I've woken up to a "dead" watch because it slides off the charging stand. If I try to push the charger out a little further it sucks back into the rubber on the holder.

Just wondering are the Premium One stands really good, from those of you who have one already?

Also, what finishes did you go for?

I have a Space Grey iPhone 6 Plus , a White . Silver iPad and a SS Watch, so quite a mix there !

Im tempted by black though.....but the wood trim does look premium....

How are you liking the Forté? I have one on order. One of the only stands that allows vertical and horizontal orientation of the watch.

Good quality and weight?
Love the Forte so far. Nice and sturdy like I expected from Twelve South. I have received great comments from visitors that saw it on my desk and wondered what it was since at the time I was wearing my watch.

I have the Premium One W3 in silver. I absolutely love it. This is the first time that I've had all my stuff in one place when I go to bed at night, and they're all within easy reach. It was well worth the $$.
Thanks for that - I'll take a closer look - pretty much sold on it, just need too decide on the finish.....

After looking through this thread 2 or 3 times a week for 6 months I finally just ordered the Enblue W3. It maw be more than I wanted to spend, but it looks like just what I wanted, just without the watch in nightstand mode. But really I don't need that and don't currently ever use it even though my current stand allows for it.
