Late to the party but I did order on launch day. Went with the blue/gray trail loop and have an October 20-27 arrival date. My wife picked up her series 8 yesterday and I’m definitely feeling impatient right now. LOL

I've read this thread and perhaps I've missed this, but if sent via UPS or FedEx to a residential address, are you able to schedule a hold? For the first time in a while, I'm not shipping to my work address but I am worried I'll have a photo session booked during the date/time where I should be home to receive/sign for my AWU delivery...

(Or do you not need to sign for AW's?)

Mine is coming to Cinti via UPS. I have UPS Mychoice and expect to have it held at the Customer Center near me. I tried to have phones held at the UPS store even closer to me, but they denied it, and it’s always iffy when it will get there anyway. I only saw the CC option for delivery using the website, not the app. I do pay the $19/year for the ‘premium’ options.

Went to order an ultra with yellow ocean band on Verizon and it back orders and won’t ship until October 31st. Good thing I have my Sept 23 delivers by date with Apple!!

Is the gray/blue trail loop really back ordered until November? I put my order in tonight for one but, that is going to be a long and painful wait if so?!?! Does Apple usually ship much sooner on back ordered watch bands?

All the trail loops were on back order from the start of preorders. Anyone who ordered it with their watch or separate got mid-October at the earliest.

Yep, most Apple watch backorders are because of the band, not the actual watch. It's ridiculous.

No tracking via MyChoice or Apple yet, still Preparing for Shipping. I'm interested in seeing how fast these move to the US from China. Still set for delivery on 9/23.

My ultra will be coming on Friday, and I currently have a series 5. How do I transfer my setup to the new Ultra. Is it like the phone, where you place one next to the other and everything transfers over?

When you unpair the old watch, it gets backed up to the iPhone. When you pair the new watch, it will ask you what backup you want to restore, if any.

Mine finally left China, more excited about the watch than my IPhone 14 PM. The phone was a need because of poor battery life on my 12PM. I’m on a series 4 watch so this will be a big upgrade.
